Today, inside my bubble ...
Hope it makes everyone salivates just imaging the food ...

No doubt, I had the knack for it! But somehow, as the years go by, I realised that I've been cooking less and less ... eating out more and more. It's just too much work to go through the whole process of preparing, cooking, eat and then washing up. Not forgetting, marketing for the ingredients to begin with! It's not that I'll be cooking for a big family, it's only for the 3 of us. Like I'd always said to Ray, "To cook takes more than an hour, to eat 15 minutes and to wash up another hour!" ... no thanks! I guess it's easier to just allow someone else to cook and clean up than doing it myself. Let them have 'The Best Cook Award'.
Anyway, with the ongoing Chinese New Year celebration, many food outlets are still closed. Some may even be closed upto 10 days into the festivity. So, we've been having 'mamak' and 'malay' food for the past few days, not that we are complaning. We are a family that enjoys the diverse ethnic variety of food in our country.
However, I really don't know what came over me this morning. I cooked! Wow ... I can't believe myself. 'Pig-trotters in Soya Sauce' at that! So today ... looks like we'll be having 'home-cooked' food! Ray is preparing his favourite 'Herbal Soup' ... should be ready by now ... and I'll just heat up some pre-packed 'Otak-otak' and 'Dim Sum' to add up the dishes.

Law of Attraction: Create A Positive Mindset ...
This exodus back to the respective hometowns to celebrate the Chinese New Year with family and loved ones is one of the most significant traditions to be observed amongst the Chinese, young and old. Another significant age old tradition is the greeting ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai!’ which literally means ‘Congratulations For Achieving Wealth’ in Mandarin. It’s greeted by everyone and to anyone they meet irrespective of their social and financial standings. In our multi-racial Malaysia, even the non-Chinese have come to engage this greeting.
With sincerity at heart, this 4-power-words greeting works magic. It resonates strong positive vibrations and affects the person on the receiving end. This is one of the areas the Chinese have subtly instill the phenomenal Law of Attraction. So, how has the Chinese managed from this magical greeting?
1. Mindset About Money
Any Chinese greeting or are greeted by another will have these 4 power-words embedded in their mind repeatedly. As the Chinese has often been associated with being money-minded, they are not shy of it at all. They maintained a very positive mindset about money. As a person who likes money and have a positive view about money, like attracts like, that person will attract money to him/her. They will attract money making opportunities and form habits to make more money in life.
2. Positive Mindset
Along with ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’, the Chinese further wishes others more prosperity, more happiness, great health and more success in whatever they will be undertaking for the rest of the year. These allow them to form and maintain positive mindset all the time. Negative words or expressions are prohibited especially during the festivity.
The Chinese also have a variety of food which they give beautiful names to promote good luck and a long life. These elegant names raises the attractiveness of the food while stimulating the appetites. At the end, it makes the diners happy that resonates positive thoughts and feelings to send out waves of strong vibrations to the universe.
3. Generosity
Greeting one another on this auspicious festivity is a form of generosity. In the most sincere expression, it’s a generosity of well-wishes and good intentions. This is just one of the outcome of being humble and grateful for ones’ current successes in life.
Dear friends and readers …
Even if you are not a Chinese, there is no stopping you from emulating them. The Law of Attraction is for everyone, just as the air we breathe. Use it and use it wisely to create a positive mindset towards whatever you want. Be appreciative of whatever you’ve already achieved in your life and allow the universe to orchestrate more abundance your way. Take full advantage of this auspicious period and set your visions for change.

Today, inside my bubble ...
I've just been accorded with the 'Honest Scrap Award'. What a surprise from Diamondmum during this Chinese New Year festivity. I believe this award is bestowed upon a fellow blogger whose blog’s content or design is, in the giver’s opinion, brilliant. I did not think I could ever deserve such a recognition but thank you anyway, Diamondmum.

- I am required to write a post bragging about this award, including the name of the generous soul who thinks I deserve such recognition, and link back to the said person so that everyone knows he or she exists.
- Then I have to select 7 blogs that I find brilliant in content or design or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who I am, if I don’t have all 7 friends.
- I need to list the 7 random bloggers and their links and leave a felicitation on their blog informing them of the prized “Honest Weblog.”
- Finally, I have to share at least 10 honest things about myself.
- I am not an early morning person.
- I must have my cuppa Black Coffee every morning.
- I love food and enjoy eating.
- I dislike running.
- I love body-combat.
- I love to laze around the house.
- I love blogging.
- I love to read.
- I adore my son, Nick.
- I love hubby, Ray, to the bone!!!

8 being my lucky number, I have decided to include 8 bloggers into the list. To my other friends, believe me, if I could I would have included all of you too. As for my friends who made it on the list ... Congratulations! Please remember to continue bearing the torch.

What does the Year of the Earth Ox holds for Me???
Today's the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Ox! Everyone will be back home for the reunion dinner tonight! Another year flies by and another new year to start afresh, a new beginning and the opportunity to seek for change, improvement and fulfillment. Let's not waste any more time.
Just the other day, I had posted 'What does the Year of the Earth Ox hold for You?' which I hope could give light to all my friends and readers a simple outlook of the coming new year.
As for myself ... I was born in the Year of the Rabbit. According to the mysterious Chinese astronomy, my personality have been described as follows:
- Tactful, considerate, virtuous, sensitive, thoughtful and eager to please, a lady who works at friendships and tries not to be the messenger with bad news. Appearances are everything to me. I'll never be the one to air the family's dirty laundry in public. I'll treasure social acceptance and may be thought of as a social climber, at times turning out to be the snobbish wife behind the successful man. I may look feminine, humble, inconspicuous, shy and sentimental, but my instincts are based on the saying ‘survival of the fittest'. Thus, I am seldom outrageous, obvious or aggressive. I'm sensible, I hate surprises and I play the game according to the rules. An excellent listener, I will make others around me comfortable. However, I'm also the most materialistic among the other animal signs. When I set my cap on a man, he will indeed be the proverbial ‘lucky' man who will have the support of a home-making wife.
As my birth year coincides with the water element, I am a Water Rabbit. So, my personality is further enhanced by these traits.
- Proper, composed, good taste and chic, I'm also more delicate and fearful than my Rabbit sisters. I'm not a risk-taker nor will I voluntarily upset my routine. I will always want and need someone to look after me.
According to Feng Shui Expert Lillian Too, this coming year is not too good a year for me. Her advice for all Rabbits alike is;
- Not an easy year - money flows out easily, there is betrayal & cheating. Hard work and determination will overcome financial and work related setbacks. Jealousy and politicking - be alert and avoid gossiping. Love life is peppered with good humour. No major problems here. Good health, but some stress and tension.
Well, as I've always done, the usual year in and year out, I'll just take in her advice with a pinch of salt. What's positive, I'll embraced into my subconciousness and as like attract like, I'll work on attracting all that is good for me anytime henceforth. As for the less favourable luck or as the fengshui experts termed them "afflictions" ...
Life's been good to me, whatever happened, happened for a reason. With clarity in my mind, a steadfast in my belief in myself and the Law of Attraction, consistency in my determination ... I'll give praise and thanks for all the things that come my way, be it good or bad ... they are just opportunities to lead me to becoming a better, happier person.

Today, inside my bubble ...

In Malaysia, with its multi-racial communities, not only the Chinese but practically everyone will be joining in to celebrate the festivities. Even the non-Chinese will be busy, either visiting their Chinese friends at open houses on the first few days of the New Year or going for a short break somewhere. Most holiday destinations will probably be fully occupied while the big city like Kuala Lumpur will be deserted. I'll be celebrating right here, in the deserted big city of Kuala Lumpur. I'm happy to avoid the traffic jams along the highways and our 'kampongs'. Anyway, still have some visitings to do. Mustn't forget, tradition needs to be observed! I still have to pay respects to my elders ... me being the youngest in the family ... then there's Ray's family too. Nick should be enjoying it more, what with 'angpows' to collect during all the visits.
Everyone will be back to work by next Wednesday but my office will remain closed until the following Monday, 2 February 2009. Wow! A total of 9 days' break from now. I'm sure going to enjoy this long break, fully occupied with my blogging, of course! Anyhow, a tinge of sadness though ... I'll sure missed the chumminess with my dear colleagues in the office, especially Mimi, Murni, Mariam, Budi, Cindy, Raina and Joan.
As I didn't have the opportunities to wish everyone in the office earlier today, until I see y'all in 9 days' time, here's a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Today, inside my bubble ...
Games were organised but we only had one going when it started to pour. Well, no one complained cos' we all got to eat earlier than planned. Everyone chomped down whatever's available heartily. There were among others, BBQ Chicken Wings, Prawns, Squids, Satay, Pasta Bolognaise and local fruits. The food was no doubt good but a little bit slow to meet the hungry queue. It was a cookout concept,

The height of the evening was the lucky draw. There were hampers and mystery prizes for the lucky winners. Not one to be so lucky in such draws, I managed to win a small hamper this time!
A word of thanks goes out to the committee members, especially to Murni, Noor and Mimi, who had so successfully organised the event for the evening despite their own work commitments. Great work! Great team spirit!

What does the Year of the Earth Ox hold for you???
Based on ancient Chinese astrology, the Chinese zodiac is a 12-year cycle with each year in the cycle named after an animal. There are many stories about the origin of the zodiac animals. According to this mysterious astronomy, each animal has a different personality and different characteristics. The animal is believed to be the main factor in each person's life that gives them their traits, success and happiness in their lifetime. These are further influenced by 5 major elements in the order of wood, fire, earth, metal and water which are determined by the positions of the major planets in the universe, the Sun, Moon, comets and time during the person's birth.
According to one of the fengshui experts in Malaysia, the coming year will be filled with good fortune. 2009 will be a year when earth energy stabilizes, bringing recovery and relief from the previous year's difficulties. The good can definitely become better where everyone can expand materially with no one being left behind. But hard work will be duly needed with a keen eye for opportunities and these will go a long way towards reaping big success.
So, which of the zodiac animal do you belong to? What's in store for your zodiac sign this coming new year? Well, the zodiac animals traditionally begin with the Rat and ends with the Pig. The following are the twelve zodiac signs in their order with their respective characteristics. Check out how you will be starting the new year too.

Today, inside my bubble ...

Just finished puffing and panting at the gym!
Dead tired to complete my intended post for today ...
But anyway, I'm glad my preparation towards my climb up Mount Kinabalu end of next month is still on track. I guess I'm not too worry about stamina and strength. After all, I'm at the gym almost every other day while Ray is practically 'on the run' everyday. Ha!
From all the forums and experiences shared by friends, both our worries are more on the altitude sickness. Many younger and fitter people have failed to make it to the peak. On the other hand, there are also those older and lesser than fit people who have reach to the top.
So! What say you then? We'll find out soon enough when I return from the adventure.

Law of Attraction: Building Courage To Move Forward …
and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness.
Your willingness to wrestle with your demons
Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength.”
That’s courage, well said! Courage makes you react, pick up a decision and then move on with your lives. A cycle of cause and effect in motion throughout your waking life.
There are basically 2 types of courage. Physical courage, normally exemplified by specific individual acts of bravery in extraordinary circumstances and moral courage, a quality of the mind or spirit to face whatever life throw at you and move forward without giving up. As the Law of Attraction is about the mind, body and spirit, let’s just discuss about moral courage.
It’s been told over and over again, what you focus on the most you will get more of it. Focus on your shortcomings and how they hinder you, then get more hindrances in your life. Instead focus on your talents and what you can do, then you will receive more of it in your life. This is how the Law of Attraction and abundance work. You get an abundance of and attract anything that you are thinking about.

Choosing courage is not easy but it can reap great rewards. Start by changing your thinking right away in order to change your life. Shift your focus from the negative and focus on what’s to gain from your adversities. Do a clarity through contrast process to identify what you truly desire against what you do not want in your life. This should give you a clearer picture of your options and motivate you to take actions.

the necessary ingredients of happiness simple tastes,
a certain degree of courage, self-denial to a point, love of work,
and above all, a clear conscience.”

Law of Attraction: Activate Through Your Vision Boards ...
Gong Xi Fa Cai! May the year of the OX brings you an abundance of health, prosperity and happiness. May success greet your every resolutions made this year.
So, how’s your new year resolutions getting on? Are you working very hard to make sure you stick to them? I certainly hope so. Many people tend to make fantastic goals and resolutions whenever a new year approaches, me included I must say, only to abandon them when they are faced with challenges along the way. Are your resolutions fading away? What if you could keep those resolutions in sight and stay motivated until you achieve a massive success?
"Everything that's coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And it's attracted by virtue of the images you're holding in your mind. It's what you're thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you” ~ Bob Proctor, one of the best Law of Attraction and abundance teachers in the world.
Your mind works like a magnet, it attracts whatever you see to create positive or negative energy vibrations. When you radiate and send out this energy with your thoughts and feelings, the same is what you will attract into your life. The Law of Attraction is the Law of Creation. You create your entire life through your own thoughts!
According the Law of Attraction, one of the most powerful ways to stay focused on your goals is to create a Vision Board. A vision board will make it easy for you to visualize your goals and dreams. It assists you in adjusting your belief system, helping you move up your emotional ladder, past self-limiting barriers to reach your goals and create the life you desire. If you’ve not done one, what will you put on yours when you do create one?
A vision board is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you’ve torn out from various magazines or from your own collection of photographs. It’s very simple and you can even create one on your computer. Select images that inspire you and even better, have yourself in it. The more personal the images you use, the better the result. By focusing on your vision board on a daily basis with self-chosen affirmations, you will attract your goals to your reality.
I started on my vision board sometime last year, October to be exact. It has been an on-going work-in-progress. A perfectionist that I am, I’ve changed the images so many times, I’ve lost count. But one thing’s for sure, my goals and resolutions remain unchanged. I know I’m long overdue in posting my own vision board onto this blog and proudly, I guess I’m finally ready to show it to all my readers today.

Today, inside my bubble ...
One of my 2009 resolutions. Possible? Optimistically, YES!
Optimism is one of the positive attitudes and positive thinking that are fundamental to the Law of Attraction. However, having optimism doesn't mean resting on your laurels. You still need to put into motion your actions to attract new opportunites. With 8 more months to go before I hit the number, I am constantly seeking out avenues that can help me achieve this desire at the soonest. Well, this blog is definitely one avenue for sure!
Anyway, as I was surfing the internet this afternoon, I stumbled upon this advertisement "ClixSense.com - PTC: Get Paid To Click". Very eye-catching right? So, what next to do? Check it out, of course!
ClixSence? What is ClixSense?

The income I earned will be paid directly to me every month via post. I can begin earning money immediately upon registration for an account. As of now, I've registered for a free account.
But still, some nagging questions run through my mind. So ... dear dear friends .... if anyone has got some further info or personal experience with this site, please do share it with us all.
