Law of Attraction: The Freedom To Choose Life’s Available Choices ...
Life’s full of choices. Do we always choose the best of the available choices? One choice can lead to another, either taking us down the wrong path or leading us on the path to success. Some may be right, some may be wrong, but what matters most is our awareness that we have the option to change it any time. From the moment we were born, a choice had been chosen for us, but eventually, we will grow out of it and choose our own path in life.
We are confronted with choices everyday. How do we know which choice to choose? Sometimes, we refuse to make a choice out of fear. Sometimes we’re lazy and allow others to make the choice for us. Then sometimes, we just simply make the wrong choices. We know it is not right for us, yet we choose to do it all the same. Whatever it is, we’ve already made a choice!
Nobody said it’s easy. But nobody said it’s hard either. There’s no excuses. It’s our responsibility if we don’t want to let our freedom slip away. We just simply need to be courageous, to stand up for what we know is real and right for us. Or else we’ll just fade into the background and someone else will take responsibility to make those choices for us, either with our consent or against our will. So let’s start taking an active role in choosing the best of life’s choices available to us today.
No one can tell us which is the right or the wrong choice. It’s our prerogative. What should be the priorities in our lives, what would be the consequences and what would be the major differences affecting our lives. Only we will know.
Whatever the choice we’ve made, learn to accept the outcome. If it turned out well, rejoice with appreciation and gratitude. If otherwise, come to terms with it and make a choice to turn it around. Every day, we have the choice to either enjoy life or hate it! It is all in our attitude towards the outcome of our life’s choices. No one can control our attitude. So if we can take charge of our own attitude, everything else in life becomes much easier.
According to the Law of Attraction, when we make a clear choice, it forces us to take a firm action. When we are able to see the effect it is having on our life, we can begin to alter our present conditions so that it flow where and when we want it to. The more energy we direct towards what we want, the stronger we are magnetized to attract our desired results. That’s the power of positive thinking!
The Law of Attractions works! Simply choose to learn its truth and examine how it is already working in our life. Do not underestimate the power of positive thinking as it can lead us to make the choices take will take us onto the path of freedom, happiness and success.

Today, inside my bubble ...
Yesterday is History,
Tomorrow is a Mystery,
and Today is a gift;
that's why we call it, the Present ...
It's as if only yesterday that I held a cute little baby boy in my arms, holding him firmly as not to let him fall, protecting him from harm's way ... feeling ever so proud whenever any stranger does give him a second look!
Tomorrow ...
I see a proud young man, standing tall in his graduation robe and mortarboard with a scroll in hand on his graduation day.
Beyond that,
I could see a family man with a big smile, carrying a toddler in his arms while a pretty young woman with equally big smile, wraps her arm around his. It only remains a mystery as to who that lucky young woman could be.
Today, that cute little baby has turned into a handsome young man, embarking on a journey of self-discovery, looking for his place to stamp his mark in this world. Today is the gift that the Law of Attraction has orchestrated for us through our longings and dreams.
As much as we would like to allow Nick to make his own choice about his future studies, being a concern parent who knows him far more better than he knows himself, his choice of pursuing a degree in busines and marketing seemed to be way over his head. It worries me as to how he would cope with subjects that he doesn't even like while in school. Accounting? ... Mathematics? ... Business Law ???
I tried to convince him towards pursuing a degree in information technology or computing, which would have been a much better choice considering that he is more of a visual and a hands-on person, rather than an academic.
Alas, we'll have the best of both worlds ...
Nick has just enrolled into college last weekend to pursue a degree in business computing. While he gets to study for the course of his choice, I get my wishes fulfilled too. Come Monday, Nick will be starting his orientation session at the college. It just doesn't need believng ...
The Law of Attraction works ... may not be in the exact terms as we may desire it to be ... but it works!

Today, inside my bubble ...
It's great to have friends!
New friends ... old friends ... office chums ... running partners ... gossip gang ... drinking clan ...... you name it! They make your journey through this life a little less lonely, maybe wild at times or perhaps could be adventurous to a certain extent!
I just received this email message from Jaslyn Wong, an old classmate of mine from my school days and felt compel to share it with all my friends and readers. I find it both meaningful and humourous. Hope you enjoy these slides.

Today, inside my bubble ...
While reading through the blogs I'm following regularly, I stopped by at 'I Need Motivation' and came across this very simple yet useful tip to help you maintain a positive outlook. I just find it too selfish if I don't share it with my friends and readers.
5 Tips For Getting Rid Of Negativity
Nobody’s immune to feelings of negativity. No matter how optimistic you try to be, there are times in your life when you feel depressed or angry. Sometimes these negative feelings hang around and you just can’t shake off the sensation of gloom. You worry constantly and can’t find solutions to any of your problems, and there’s no end in sight to your difficulties. How can you go from seeing the glass as perpetually half empty to half full?
Do Something Different:
Many times people feel depressed or bored with life because they don’t have anything new going on. It’s easy to fall into routines and dig yourself into a rut so deep you have a hard time getting out. By doing something different you’re interrupting those well-worn neuro-pathways and forcing your brain to wake up and take notice. Drive a different way home from work. Shop at a new store. Try a new recipe. Brush your teeth with the opposite hand. Change around your furniture. Read a completely different type of book or magazine than you normally would. Take a short class at the local community college.
Make a Solutions List:
If you’re feeling negative because problems are looming before you with seemingly no way around them, sit down and brainstorm ways to overcome your current situation. Write down anything and everything, no matter how mundane or silly it may seem and you’ll probably come up with some workable solutions in the process. Every problem has at least one solution.
Set a Goal:
Without constant goals it’s easy to fall into a funk. Think of some dreams or interests you may have been putting off and dedicate yourself to pursuing them. Whether you’ve wanted to lose weight, paint, take a dance class, further your education, run a marathon, or come up with a new inventions, do it! Nothing gets your energy flowing better than having something worthwhile to look forward to.
Go Back In Time:
Think back to a time in your life when things were working, when you felt healthy, happy, and optimistic. What were you doing then? How was your life different than it is now? Try to do those things now if possible. Nobody has ever been depressed or negative from the moment of conception! If you can repeat your actions of the past your mind will home in on those old feelings and you should soon feel a shift in your energy level. You may need to fake it for awhile if you’ve been living with negativity for some time, though it’s not impossible to get back the “old you.”
Exercise Daily:
This is one of the fastest and easiest ways to change your mood around. Exercising is not only good for your heart and body, but it releases endorphins in your brain that dramatically boost your mood. Getting yourself into the exercise habit is usually the most difficult part, but keep in mind that the benefits far exceed the laziness you experience beforehand.
These are some of the best tips for overcoming negativity. Try them all or choose the ones you think will work best for you. It’s not impossible to feel happier, more energetic, and to face each day with a positive outlook. All it takes is a bit of effort and commitment to actually make changes

Vinefire.com: Earning With Links ...
It’s been some time now since I last posted anything about making money online. So far, my best avenue still remain with Google Adsense. That’s where I can see a steady increase in my income, albeit very very slowly. The other avenues I stumbled upon still remain very much to be appreciated.
Anyway, as I was visiting blogs after blogs this morning, I stumbled upon an unusual avenue to earn some online income. I actually found on the blog, Totally Useless, I don’t think the blog-owner had any pun intended.
Vinefire.com, a new site which is still very much a work-in-progress, where you can earn money simply by posting and clicking on links to shocking news, funny videos, great savings and more. The best links will quickly rise to the top and the worst ones buried through members’ votes on the links submitted by everyone else.
You can earn from this site as follows:-
Anyway, as I was visiting blogs after blogs this morning, I stumbled upon an unusual avenue to earn some online income. I actually found on the blog, Totally Useless, I don’t think the blog-owner had any pun intended.
You can earn from this site as follows:-
- Click On Posted Links:
Login to the Vinefire homepage and click on any of the links posted by fellow members. You’ll earn $0.45 for each link you visit and the links will turn gray once you've visited them. - Click On Sponsored Links:
While you’re login to Vinefire, visit their sponsors’ links and earn $0.50 per click. - Vote On the Links:
Use the icons on the homepage to vote up (▲) the links you like or vote down (▼) any of the links you do not like. You’ll earn $0.55 for each vote. - Add A Link:
When you come across any interesting webpage that you think other members will like or enjoy, just add link to that page and earn $0.12 every time fellow members vote up on your link. - Referral Link:
Refer your friends to join Vinefire.com with a personal referral link. You'll earn 50% of your friends earnings every time they click a link, vote on a link, or add a link. - You can earn more if you want …
Currently, new members can only earn up to $5.00/day. If you would like to earn more, you can verify your account for a small fee of $5.00. Verifying your account takes about 2 minutes and will instantly raise your daily earnings limit to $50.00/day.
Important Questions:
- When will I get paid?
The first payment is scheduled to be sent on January 31, 2010. After that, it will begin to send weekly payments to all its members. - Why not pay sooner?
Vinefire is currently in "beta" mode and they are still testing to make sure the site will be profitable in the long-term before they begin sending regular payments. Committing to regularly scheduled payments too early could cause the website to collapse before it really gets a chance to get started.
If you are game at making some decent online income, I believe there is no harm trying this site out. After all joining is for free. Simply visit here and enter your email address. The rest is up to you!

Law of Attraction: The Choices Of Words We Use ...
The Law of Attraction is all about putting out positive vibrations to the universe to attract all that we desire. Positive vibrations comes from our positive thoughts and emotions. No doubt the Law of Attraction may not be about words but the fact remains that positive affirmations can help us generate the positive thoughts and emotions. Positive affirmations come from the choices of our words.
Words create images in our mind which trigger our feelings. Whether we are aware or not, the positive and negative effect of words can have rippling effects on us and the people around us. When we use the word “Christian”, we immediately see an image of the cross or the church. It triggers a positive feeling of godliness. However, when we use the word “Swastika”, another word will immediately come to mind, “Nazi”, which triggers a negative feeling of war and holocaust. Our words and thoughts can either work for us or against us! We should always exercise care on the choices of words we utter daily.
Everyday, we are persistently deluge with negative words in our conversations, judgements, opinions and beliefs. “I can’t do it”, “I won’t win”, “I don’t have enough”, “I can’t change” etc. Speaking ills of others when relationships turned sour or out of anger during a raging mood or gossiping etc, aren’t we all guilty of repeated negative expressions at some points of our life?
Negative words direct our mind to focus only on the bad or the ills or the inescapable doom we faced. We shut our mind within the difficulty or away from the reality of the situation. According to the Law of Attraction, like attract like, we just attract more of DOOM! Let’s not dwell too much on the negativity of our choices of words in this entry. Let’s break the habit! Let’s turn our choices of negative words into positive ones. Use positive words to our advantage to create positive images and feelings in our daily life.
When we change our habit to consistently use positive words in our daily life, we will change the way we feel and think. It will eventually change the way we respond to any predicaments or situations. When we are happy, we build positive thoughts and emotions.
Positive Words ► Positive Images ► Positive Feelings ► Positive Actions ► Positive Rewards ► HAPPY LIFE!
Change the way we use words in our life to maintain the harmony for our body, mind and spirit, and the Law Of Attraction will work better and easier for us. We should exercise the ability to control our mind and be selective on the choices of our words. We must learn to view things with compassion as we are all not perfect and are likely to make mistakes. When we developed the habit to express positively, we will liberate ourselves to find JOY, PEACE, HAPPINESS and subsequently SUCCESS.
Here’s a short guide to maintain positive words and thoughts in our daily life:

Today, inside my bubble ...
Another day ... another hurdle ...
Nick just passed his driving test!
Time really flies. One moment he was just a baby who cried to be pushed around in his pram
... then a toddler zooming around on his tricycle ...
then a teen manouvering his stunts on his bicycle ... in 3 days' time, he will be driving his proud parents around!
An exciting future is unfolding fast for all of us. As much as I missed that little chubby ram of mine (because he was born in the year of the Ram), I look forward with excitement to the man he will become.

Law of Attraction: Can We Change Our Karma?

The Law of Karma is simple and straightforward. It has been around for thousand of years and is known to many different cultures and religions. According to the Law of Karma, for every act that’s done, no matter how insignificant it is, it shall eventually be returned to the doer with the equal impact, that is ‘good will be returned with good, evil with evil’. It defines that nothing happens to a person that he or she does not already deserve. Karma can be referred as the ‘moral law of cause and effect’. It encourages one to do good and avoid evil. Everything we do intentionally, either good or bad, will bring reward or retribution, and nobody else can experience on our behalf the joy or suffering resulting from our behaviour. Therefore, the Law of Karma teaches one to take responsibility for their actions.
The Law of Attraction is the same as this law of cause and effect. Karma may often be seen as a punishment for something bad one has done in our past life. On the other hand, the Law of Attraction, is to many a way to get whatever we want. We simply attract into our life whatever we think or focus our thoughts on, irrespective good or bad. According to this Law of Attraction, our mind shapes our surrounding so that we create our own future according to what we hold in our mind.
So, whether it is the Law of Karma or the Law of Attraction that you believe in, they work together. They will attract to us the results of our very own actions.
We are all creatures of the Infinite Being, GOD, who resides within each and everyone of us, allowing us the abilities to create the reality we live in … what we think, how we think and how we balance all the thoughts meandering within our mind. Karma is the habitual and repetitive thoughts that recreates the same energies and vibrations over and over again. This habitual thoughts become laid into our subconscious mind that generates our spontaneous reactions … in simple words, our actions comes from our thoughts!
The basic fundamentals to life is that we are ourselves responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven or our own Hell. We are the creator of our own Fate! The karma we experience is the mere reflection of our dominant vibrations which are the combination of our expectations, limitations and beliefs.
Believe it or not, we can change our own karma by changing our vibrations! The Law of Attraction works as an effective tool to change our karmic factors whether favourable or otherwise, as long as we are willing to change our attitude and overcome them with diligence and discipline.

Today, inside my bubble ...

Ray and myself heaved a huge sigh of relief when our 'not-so-perfect' angel, Nick managed to obtain at least 6 credits ... one credit more than the minimum requirement to pursue a degree in any of the local private colleges. We were never hopeful that he will achieve any A's but nonetheless, we are still proud of his achievement. We were also surprised that he had decided to pursue a degree in business and marketing. Looking at his character ... marketing does seem so suited for him. Well thought, Nick!
We did some final assessment on a few popular colleges at an education fair yesterday. We have yet to make up our minds, but it looks more likely than not Nick will be studying at KDU College, taking up a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business Management to major in Marketing. The other choice is Metropolitan College. Both will be a 4-year course graduating with an international degree but the latter will only be a general degree. Irrespective which of the 2 colleges he's heading, we will have to be prepared to fork-out some RM60-70k for his whole course. Well, I believe every parents would have been prepared for this!
Anyhow, no matter how his SPM results could have turned-out, I'm just so glad that we've managed to glide through another phase in Nick's journey of life ... a journey to adulthood ... a journey that will let him cement his strong foundation in life ... a journey for him to build his own identity in this world ... and ultimately a successful future for himself and his family.
Congratulations Nick on your achievement in your SPM examinations!

Law of Attraction: Taking Advantage of Superstitions ...
Are you a superstitious person?
Today’s Friday the 13th … what’s your reaction?
What’s this superstition behind Friday the 13th?
The origin of the link between bad luck and Friday the 13th is unclear and dates back centuries. Generally, Friday is deemed as an unlucky day and 13, an unlucky number. For both to coincide, many people are affected and possibly paralysed by fear that they avoid their normal routines in doing business, taking flights or even getting out of bed. You’ll be surprised that business loss by the millions could actually happened on this day.
Almost every person in this world has at least one superstitious belief. Every community and culture has its own. How does it conjure the Law of Attraction?
Superstition makes you believe in something and your beliefs will set your thoughts and emotions in motion. Whatever your thoughts and emotions, you will put out the appropriate vibrations to the Universe. Like attract like, you get what you put out. Therefore, superstition is more or less the Law of Attraction in action. Whether you attract good or the bad, it depends on the nature of your superstitions.
So, if you believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day, then that’s going to be what you get! Fear can do strange things to your mind and when you dwell in those fear day and night, you may find yourself waking up to what you most feared.
In the same light, if you believe in the Chinese Feng-shui that afflictions could be remedied or cured through its practice to improve your health, success and financial luck, then again, that’s what you’re going to get!
So in order to allow superstitions to work for you in more positive ways, you will need to start choosing positive superstitions to believe in and discard those negative ones. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own luck and your own happiness in life … something that comes from within. Don’t be trapped in your fear but invoke your power to choose. You can choose to be lucky and change your luck … by changing your attitude towards life!

Ascending Mt. Kinabalu ... Malaysia's Highest Peak [Final Part]
The journey back to the city, Kota Kinabalu, took us slightly more than 2 hours due to the after-office traffic snarl. Kit and Lee dropped-off first at Hotel Shangri-la where they have a business associate waiting, while Paul and Diana planned to get down together with us at the Promenade Hotel. We had already reserved a 2-nights’ stay there.
As usual, Kit was the more chattier one while Lee slept most of the way in the front passenger seat due to car sickness. Three of us just chatted away on almost anything under the sun, from climbing Mount Kinabalu to politics and back to the best seafood in Kota Kinabalu. We cracked jokes and had lots of laughs all the way. In between, we even dragged in our cab driver for the conversation, as well as Paul and Diana, although they had to struggle abit with their English. Upon reaching Hotel Shangri-la, Paul and Diana decided to part ways too as they had spotted some backpackers’ lodge nearby. We finally arrived at our hotel, totally exhausted. For the next two days, both of us, more so myself, ventured around Kota Kinabalu as if I had piles. It was so embarrassingly obvious when I had to descend any elevated places.
Kota Kinabalu is a city known for its fresh and cheap seafood aside from the nature attractions. Of course, there are also the handicrafts, but me being me, no interests in such things at all. The first evening we checked out the nightlife at the popular Waterfront and ended up having dinner at The Shamrock, an Irish pub.
The subsequent night, we decided to have our seafood exploration at The Ocean Seafood Village @ Api Api, just next door to our hotel. We were quite late, arriving at the restaurant only after 9.00 pm but it was still packed with tourists and local diners. We were amazed by the variety of choices displayed in the fish tanks and the humongous size of the cockles, clams, lobsters and prawns. We were so captivated by some of the odd-looking sea creatures, especially one called The Rock Fish. Then there were also these large mantis prawns kept alive individually in 500ml coke bottles. It seemed to prevent them from fighting with each other, so as to maintain their beauty. Diners are encouraged to choose directly from the display area and the waiters will provide their suggestions on the suitable cooking styles.
When we first saw The Rock Fish, Ray thought it was just an aquarium decoration and we were suppose to choose the other fishes swimming inside the same tank. What a laugh we had when the waiter actually suggested that we try that aquarium deco. No doubt the fish did not taste weird nor anything special, our amazement did not stop there! It was the first time we had come across fish bones in blue! Check out the picture!
Well, at end of the day, we were poorer by RM252.00, which included a bottle of Tsingtao beer, a fresh coconut, table-snacks and taxes. We had 'buttered lobster' (500gm x RM160/kg), 'chilli prawn' (RM40 per piece), steamed crabs (600gm x RM38/kg) and of course, the steamed Rock Fish (600gm x RM80/kg). No doubt the seafood were fresh, I felt it’s all hyped. You can actually get the same freshness at that kind of price here in Kuala Lumpur too. Plus! Plus ... better and friendlier service!
The weather were kind to us while we were in Kota Kinabalu. Most of the time it was cloudy with intermittent drizzles. We spent most of our time walking from one shopping centre to another nearby; The Warisan Square, Centrepoint, Api-Api Centre and ...
we also grabbed some souvenirs at the Philippino Market opposite the Le Meridien Hotel. We finally flew back to Kuala Lumpur on a night flight on Air Asia on Saturday, 28Feb. Here's our photo album to the entire trip ...
This the end to our Mount Kinabalu Adventure … until we venture next … another destination. Ohhhhh … I’m so looking forward to return to Bali again this year-end!
