My Bubble: Shine Sunshine Lady ... Shine!

Cheryl a.k.a. The Sunshine Lady, is a very dear dear friend. She's always chirpy and full of laughter that she'll livened the day even when it's rainy. She's the wifey of hubby's running partner and I've only began to know her really well this past one year. Our friendship, though not a seasoned one, we seemed to complement each other beautifully.

Cheryl is such a gem of a lady ... a humble and unassuming person, ever ready to help others. She's been a great source of encouragement to me.

However, of late, the Sunshine Lady is just not as radiant as before. She seemed a little withdrawn, absent-minded and her vigor noticeably lacking. She'd admitted to be under alot of stress this past month and it has definitely affected her immunology. She's currently down with some viral infection ... sore-throat and coughing ... even lost her voice just a few days' ago.

Sadly, I'm kinda frustrated with her today. Despite several reminders, she has yet to see the doctor to rid that infection and does not seem put an urgency to it. She's been suffering for a week now! She's in denial, thinking that she's getting better. Irrespective the situation, never take one's well-being so lightly. She has prioritised everyone and everything ahead of herself!

I'm worried! I've seen how a simple infection like this turned worst. My sister had the same attitude and it progressed to bronchitis. I, myself had my own first-hand experience while I was on holiday in HongKong. I suffered a lung infection upon my return because I did not seek any medical attention.

Hey Sunshine Lady, please do the right thing soon. We need the sunshine to blaze down on us with brilliance!

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today

3 Bubbles:

Putting others first is a good thing up to a point. But you can't give so much that you have no strength left for yourself.

That's why RicAdeMus. Sometimes, we need to be alittle selfish but in the long run, it will be for the best of everyone, especially those we love dearly.

Sometimes, we think we are helping by doing everything, but in reality we are depriving others of their birth-right to be independent, the respect that they are capable in their own way and time.

Thanks for all the compliments and thanks for all the 'reprimanding'! Honoured to be a piece in your blog! Though got it from you left and right! Sob, sob!

Yeah, the guilty party is me! Knowing it is easy, to shift the whole focus is rather difficult. I truely appreciate your points, and I've been wanting to make myself let go more. So, really, really trying. Will have to be more relax with my own expectation for a start. Working on it.

Seriously, I kinda like the 'Sunshine' part of me too...hahahaha..... so, I'll learn to lift one finger at a time.

THANKS GUYS!
