Law Of Attraction: Stop Trying So Hard!

Many people try very hard to put the Law of Attraction to use to manifest their goals. But here's one secret: if you try too hard, you may be setting yourself up for failure.

Joanna had attended one of my Law of Attraction classes. She shared with me how desperately she tried, day after day, to put the attraction methods to work. Still, she had not manifested the job opportunity she desired.

Her problem is a common one for many people. The solution is surprisingly simple.

The Subconscious Mind Has the Power

The subconscious mind is the "magic genie of the lamp" power behind the Law of Attraction. When you consciously give it clear instructions and images about what it is you want and the satisfaction you will feel when the desire comes to pass, the genie uses its vast resources to make it a reality for you.

So here's the most important rule: "To manifest change with your subconscious mind, you need to reduce your conscious effort."

For example, let's say you have trouble sleeping, the harder you try to go to sleep the more wide awake you will stay. That's because when you "try hard" to do something, your subconscious mind believes that the task is too difficult.

So, as you put the Law of Attraction to work, it's an important secret to convey no conscious strain to your subconscious mind. Keep your efforts focused, clear and fun, but... give your subconscious no indications that you are in desperate need or that the goal might be hard to accomplish.

When I suggested that Joanna just relax and have a good time while applying this secret, several new job opportunities materialized for her within days. She told me: "It was like magic!"

Here are a few simple "secret" rules when you use the principle of attraction:

• Concentrate on what you want with joy and pleasure
• Recognize that your subconscious mind is able to attract it
• Expect that what you want can and will happen
• Have fun with your Law of Attraction techniques

After all, you don't have to beg a genie to give you what you want. You just tell it what you want and let it do its job. So, approach your subconscious self with a sense of relaxed expectancy. And let it attract exactly what you want to your life.

My Bubble: The Shocking Truth!

I knew him since he was just a little kid when his mum did a little housekeeping for my family. He was only 5 years old then and his mum would always bring him along while she did the housework for us. I was about 10 years old then and he liked to tag along wherever I go. I didn’t mind playing with him at all since I’m the youngest and the only kid at home. All my older siblings had flown the coop.

We played together until we got bored of each other and in time, he did not follow his mum to our home anymore. His mum would always tell me that he prefers to stay home to study. Indeed he excelled in his studies and became an annual top-scorer in his all-boys school. He was the apple of his mum’s eye. Soon, by the time I had finished my high school, he was already pursuing his dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur in the United Kingdom on a government scholarship.

His mum subsequently stopped working as a housekeeper but kept in touch with my mum through the years until my mum’s passing some years ago. I’d sometimes wonder what had become of her and her son … probably he’s a CEO in some large organization or a business tycoon by now I guessed. I always had faith that he would have made something great for himself and his mum.

However, my faith in him crumbled when I read a recent news report about a man who had been charged for the murder of his business partner. I recognized the face of the arrested man immediately. He was our housekeeper’s son. I couldn’t believe my eye but the news report spelled out his name correctly, so I couldn’t be wrong!

The shocking truth revealed that he had suffered a huge loss through illegal sports betting. Surprisingly he had only been drawn to bet on sports during the recently concluded World Cup in South Africa. He had no prior knowledge nor experience in football betting but yet he foolishly betted excessively. He was adamant to withdraw funds from his business to repay the illegal bookie but when his business partner objected, he stabbed him in a fit of rage with a letter-opener.

It was such a shocking and sad predicament. I’m sure his mum would’ve been so hurt and disappointed by this unfortunate turn-of-event. He was at the prime of his time, with a successful business partnership and a beautiful family behind him. I still can’t believe what I’ve read.

Law Of Attraction: Can I Win the Lottery With the Law of Attraction?

Can you win the lottery with the Law of Attraction? That's the multimillion dollar question, right?

The good news is, YES, it's possible to use the Law of Attraction to attain any real world desire ... including trying to win a lottery. The not so good news is: there are factors involved that could interfere with your success.

For one thing, if thousands of people desire the same object (in this case, the lottery) then who can say what factors determine who wins it? For instance, does the person who wants it the most win the prize? Or is it the person who envisions winning it most clearly? Does karma play a role? What about predestination?

Personal beliefs and attitudes that can also block a lottery win. For instance, if you think that "winning" is improbable or if you find gambling morally questionable, your own subconscious mind may stop you from succeeding.

Manifestation is often complex. Anyone who says differently is selling something. The bottom line is that although it is possible to win the lottery using the Law of Attraction, there is no guarantee. Maybe risking your hard earned money on lottery tickets would be unwise for you.

There Is a Silver Lining!

Many people have used the Law of Attraction to help them manifest more money. Here's an example. Angela, a student of mine, needed $4,000 to pay off her debts. After putting my methods into practice, she unexpectedly received a check in the mail for $4,444 within six weeks!

By the way, Angela hadn't bought any lottery tickets. In fact, she didn't have any idea how the money might come to her. She said she just kept envisioning the amount of money she needed, and imagined paying off her debts.

Here's my point: You do not need to limit the way the money may come to you. Your subconscious -- the part of you that makes Attraction really work -- is like a powerful genie, with vast, often unknowable resources. Let the genie within you decide where the money will come from!

When using the Law of Attraction to manifest money, there are a few ideas that may prove helpful:

• Eliminate limiting beliefs about money and wealth
• Recognize that others have used Attraction methods to attract wealth
• Contemplate the amount you want and what you will use it for
• Imagine the joy you will feel when it has manifested
• Don't specify how the money will materialize

There is no reason to believe that it is harder to manifest money than to manifest other things. Just reconsider whether you should put your effort and hope into winning the lottery. After all, there are a lot of different ways to acquire wealth with the Law of Attraction. And why limit yourself anyway?

My Bubble: But In The End ...

It was indeed a very generous gesture from Steven and Cheryl . An offer to a 50-50 partnership in a new business entity … a proposition that I would say is too good to pass. Low capital, ready customers, market monopoly and in the end … I’m my own boss.

However, it requires one very important requisite, as in any other business and that’s TIME. The new business partnership shall require my full attention ... a business that’s to be opened from 9.00 to 5.00 and 5 days’ a week. I was actually game to the challenge the moment it was proposed to me … something that’s totally new to me in my years of working experience … to manage a retail outlet. But before I can commit a ‘YES’ to my friends, I will have to overcome any opposition coming from hubby. If there is, it wouldn’t be the first. The many times that I had wanted to venture into a business undertaking, it never got pass hubby’s concurrence though I do understand his fear of risks and loss … our life-savings at stake!

Unlike then, this time the risk is minimal or perhaps nil. Still I have to decline such a profitable proposition. If this opportunity had popped up earlier … prior to my retirement that is, there’s probably no thinking twice. However, after considering long and hard over the weekend, I guess hubby does have a rational point … to commit my full time to this venture will eventually defeat my purpose of an early retirement from the corporate world. Now, my time is at my own disposal and I’m free to schedule it whichever way I fancy. I’m already getting accustomed and enjoying the laid-back feel of not being in the workforce.

Moreover, who’s going to take care of Bowie? That poor little angel would have to spend his days penned up in the kitchen (only a 50sf space). It’ll be a psychological torment for him and I don’t think I would appreciate coming home to a pet that’s suffering from separation anxiety. At the moment, he’s just so happy and relaxed whenever I stayed home for a longer part of the day. I believe a happy dog will be an obedient dog.  An alternative suggestion is to give him away which does not even come into consideration ... he's so much a part of our family now.

Well … no doubt it feels heavy to let go of this opportunity … but in the end, I’ve got to say ‘NO’.

The General went out to find that none of his G.I.s were there. One finally ran up, panting heavily.

"Sorry, sir! I can explain, you see I had a date and it ran a little late. I ran to the bus but missed it, I hailed a cab but it broke down, found a farm, bought a horse but it dropped dead, ran 10 miles, and now I'm here."

The General was very skeptical about this explanation but at least he was here so he let the G.I. go. Moments later, eight more G.I.s came up to the general panting, he asked them why they were late.

"Sorry, sir! I had a date and it ran a little late, I ran to the bus but missed it, I hailed a cab but it broke down, found a farm, bought a horse but it dropped dead, ran 10 miles, and now I'm here."

The General eyed them, feeling very skeptical but since he let the first guy go, he let them go, too. A ninth G.I. jogged up to the General, panting heavily.

"Sorry, sir! I had a date and it ran a little late, I ran to the bus but missed it, I hailed a cab but..."

"Let me guess," the General interrupted, "it broke down."

"No," said the G.I., "there were so many dead horses in the road, it took forever to get around them."

Money, It’s one of the most common desires that people have when they are first learning about the law of attraction. When you are able to manifest the financial situation that you want, you are able to experience more of the lifestyle that suits you. With that being said, there are some things that you will need to do in order to get started on your goal to use the law of attraction to better your financial situation. What are those things and how can you become a magnet to the green stuff?

3. Give yourself a clear intention. Know exactly what amount that you would like to attract. Get as specific as possible and do not waiver in what you want. The more clarity that you have in regards to your goal, the more likely it is that you will make it there much sooner.
These three tips are just the start to put you on track to manifest more money with the law of attraction.

It's over ... it's finally over! The World Cup Fever is finally OVERRR!!!

After so many misses, SPAIN WON 1-0 after an extra half-hour game and despite the high-handedness from Netherlands ... they were brutal! In all respect, the Dutch deserved all those yellow and red cards.

Personally, it's a relief for me ... one month of watching hubby staying up at 2.30am to catch his favourite matches ... getting to sleep only past 4.30am ... then up and ready for work by 7.00am. What kind of life ... all because of the Football Fever!
