What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
I guess it is needless to say much for this week because my Hong Kong trip is already the central attention of my week.
1. I am so grateful for the safe journey to and back.
2. I am so grateful for a wonderful time spent around HongKong and the exciting dashes between the MTR stations on my call of duty ... to snap the KK Pacers in action.
3. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience Disneyland which I did not managed to visit during my previous trip.
4. I am so grateful that everything was safe back at home while lo kong and I were away.

Law Of Attraction: Do You Know About The Power Of Flow?
Flow is the quality of ease that can be integrated into a life to give it the look and feel of almost effortless achievement. It's not as elusive as it may seem. We all know people who go through life attracting opportunity after opportunity; or those who have a knack for being at the right place at the right time to connect with the right people.
These people seem unusually lucky; life seems to favor them but in reality they have turned synchronicity and attraction into a habit where most people experience them in random fashion. Our culture has been programmed to link struggle with valor and so the tendency is to unconsciously choose struggle over ease.
This struggle mentality validates the assumptions that life is hard and you have to work hard to get make ends meet or to get ahead. It places the under-achiever in declivity while setting the high performance achiever up for burnout. This struggle mentality is a sickness that is perpetuated by both the unsuccessful and the successful. There is a high price attached to success that is adrenaline-based; there is this unending pressure to go faster, work harder, jump higher, sleep less, and do more. This model of success is very unattractive, very expensive, and is simply a more glamorous form of failure.
The high performance achiever may be relentless at first, but eventually as the burn intensifies, they begin to ask themselves, "Is this all there is?" There is a better way that leads to success that can be achieved and sustained without amputating other important aspects of yourself and your life.
Steven Lane Taylor, author of the book Row, Row, Row Your Boat; A Guide for Living Life in the Divine Flow", suggests that we can intentionally tap into the flow of life's benevolent energy. When we do, we begin to move gently toward our goals instead of racing past them like an Olympic runner being chased by a herd of frightened elephants. The high performance achiever is often the one who is most at risk in becoming trapped in the work harder, faster, longer paradigm.
In Steven's book, he uses the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" to provide a simple model for unlocking the mystery of flow.
Authored by Robin Harris, a coach, an author, an instructional designer, a certified TeleClass leader, and a spiritual entrepreneur. My Bubble: Starting My Online Store!
It has been almost 6 months now since I created my online store. I had intended to launch it in January 2011 but regretfully I had to put this on hold. Originally, it was because I still do not have sufficient items to be put on sale.
Now, I will be joining forces with my friend, Susan to come out with our very own handicrafts to make our online store more attractive. Our online store is aptly called "Trinkets Alley" which will be an outlet for anyone looking for unique collectors' items for their personal collections or as gifts and souveniours. I am still on the lookout for all these knick-knacks from among my friends. Anyone who has unwanted old souveniours will be welcomed to drop it off with me!
After reviewing my online store several times, I am also not too satisfied with the payment processing facility for my potential customers. Maybe I'm a tad too fussy but I feel if my online store can accept credit card, it would make a world of difference in terms of convenience for my potential customers.
I learned from an acquaintance who is running a food business in my neighborhood that an online set-up like mine should incorporate a credit card processing option to spur business. He highlighted several reputable merchant account providers with their added online security for both shoppers and merchants. In fact, after he had signed up for a restaurant merchant account recently, he is so happy that his business has been increasingly brisk.
Looking at his good example, I'd better not lose anymore time to sign up for a merchant account. Meanwhile, I'd better revamp my online store again to incorporate an option to accept credit card.

Poetry: In Life
Poetry by: Angie Flores
In life there are people that will hurt us and cause us pain,
but we must learn to forgive and forget and not hold grudges.
In life there are mistakes we will make,
but we must learn from our wrongs and grow from them.
In life there are regrets we will have to live with,
but we must learn to leave the past behind and realize it is something we can't change.
In life there are people we will loose forever and can't have back,
but we must learn to let go & move on.
In life there are going to be obstacles that will cause interference,
but we must learn to overcome these challenges and grow stronger.
In life there are fears that will hold us back from what we want,
but we must learn to fight them with the courage from within.
God holds our lives in his hands. He holds the key to our future.
Only he knows our fate.
He see's everything and knows everything.
Everything in life really does happen for a reason: "God's Reason".

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
Sometimes things just seem so boring ... repeating itself without any purpose or direction. But when I took an extra effort to look beyond the humdrum facade of the past week, there are still things that I should be thankful for.
My random gratitude list of the week is as follows:-
1. I am so grateful that my blog has received its 25000 visitors on Tuesday 14th. My sincere appreciation to all my blog-friends and other netizens who had made this possible.
2. I am so grateful that I've been getting several regular projects to fill my time and to make some pocket money.
3. I am so grateful for the ideas and inspirations that has come my way. Now that I've got all I need inside, I just have to do it!
4. I am so grateful that I am on my way to Hong Kong now for a short holiday.

Poetry: Thoughts in Solitude
Poetry by: Thomas Merton
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going,
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself,
and the fact that I think I am following your will
does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road,
though I may know nothing about it.
I will not fear, for you are ever with me,
and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going,
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.

My Bubble: Awaiting My Humble Abode!
Each time someone asks me about my new condominium, it is quite despairing whenever I tell them it will be ready only in 2013. It's also a reminder to me that I've got to stay put in my rented home for another 2 years.
Anyway, no matter how long I've got to wait, I've already got some ideas for my new humble abode. I've reminded ‘lo kong’ many times over that this will be our final resting place where we will grow old together. As such, he will have to be prepared as there will be no holds barred on the renovations .
The interior design will be in contemporary style from the living area to the kitchen, the bedrooms and bathrooms too. This time round, I will definitely go for my favorite granite countertops in the kitchen and marble furnishings for the bathrooms. As the buildup is only 900sf, there will be plenty of hidden built-ins for storage purposes. Warm lightings will create the additional welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
Gosh, this is really putting my patience to the test!

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
A week's past for another random list of gratitude. Today is the 10th day of the Chinese Lunar New Year and I am already grateful for such a wonderful beginning to my year, the year of the RABBIT!
Maybe it is not as dramatic as last year, to a point where I found boredom and became uninspired but I believe things has started to turn around this past one week.
I AM SO GRATEFUL TO BE INSPIRED ONCE MORE!!!

Law Of Attraction: Are You Blissful Or Are You Contented?
How would you categorize yourself? Are you a blissful person or are you contented? It matters when we are discussing the secrets to making the law of attraction work for us.
First and foremost, let’s clarify the difference between the two … blissful against contented. In the dictionary, it describes ‘blissful’ as being in a state of extreme happiness and joy while ‘contented’ means being happy and satisfied.
While we unlocked more and more secrets to the law of attraction and learn to apply it in our daily life, we will inadvertently discover that one of the important secrets to making the law of attraction work for us is to try to remain happy while we actively pursue the things that we want to manifest in our life. So, are you truly happy … blissfully happy or just contented?
Studies already carried out by psychologists in various parts of the world found that people who are blissful are likelier to achieve more successes as they continually construct positive illusions about life and people around them. They remain focus on their pursuits of those positive illusions and will not rest on their laurels as their happiness heightens through further achievements. The glass is never entirely full for them and they will always seek for more. They are the go-getters and this gives them the edge over the contented.
On the contrast, the contented people who are just a happy lot and at ease with whatever they have achieved so far proved to be far less motivated to shake things up in their life. After all, they are already satisfied with their current achievement and it would be pointless to strive for more.
Everything we want begins with a thought or an illusion … positive ones of course! We are motivated by them to take action and focus all our energies on them. This is a major part of the process of manifestation in the law of attraction.

Just Laughs: Headache
A police officer, though scheduled for all-night duty at the station, was relieved of duty early and arrived home four hours ahead of schedule, at 2 AM.
Not wanting to wake his wife, he undressed in the dark, crept into the bedroom and started to climb into bed.
She sleepily sat up and said, "Mike, dearest, would you go down to the all-night drug store on the next block and get me some aspirin? I've got a splitting headache."
"Certainly, honey," he said, and feeling his way across the room, he got dressed and walked over to the drug store.
As he arrived, the pharmacist looked up in surprise, "Say," said the druggist, "aren't you Officer Fenwick of the 8th District?"
"Yes, I am," said the officer.
"Well, then, what in the world are you doing in the Fire Chief's uniform?"

My Bubble: Uninspired By Boredom!
Today's the 5th day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. It's the 5th day into the Chinese New Year celebration and most offices, retail outlets and eateries should be opened as usual today. Lo Kong's back to work and Nick's resuming classes at his college this afternoon. Thank God for the return of normalcy.
Though I had some work in hand to keep me occupied, nonetheless it has been such a boring five days break. To make matters worst, it was a hot weekend! If it was not for the fact that my washing machine has broken down, I would have continued to welcome the rainy days. Hot weather makes me lazy, bored and irritable. I feel like a drag!!!
Today's affirmation is "I will reach for the stars!" ... so far, still bored and uninspired. Where's the excitement that used to fuel my mind with inspirations and ideas???
Have you ever been so bored that you feel lifeless?

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
Wow, what a gastronomic marathon for the past 3 days. Eat drink snack ... eat drink snack. Instead of "Fatt" which means prosper, it is more like 'fat' which you'd know what I mean. I dare not even step on the weighing scale this past few mornings! Is it 1kg ... 2kg or more upwards (enough of finger-licking yumminess, it's now biting fingers) ???
This is always the top downside of festive celebrations ... I'm so hoping for things to return to normal today!
A week has passed and it is time again for another random list of gratitude;
1. I am so grateful for a wonderful start to a brand new lunar year, GONG XI FA CAI!
2. I am so grateful to be able to celebrate this festive occasion with my dearest family and friends.
3. I am so grateful that I've managed to complete successfully several projects in hand before taking this festive break.
4. I am so grateful to received timely payments for my efforts too.
5. I am so grateful to receive a handy gift that was personally hand-delivered all the way from Calgary, Canada (after more than 24-hours' back-breaking air travel) ... I'm so treasuring this!

Law Of Attraction: 7 Reasons to Celebrate
One of the secrets of successful manifesters is that they always find reasons to celebrate! Here are 7 reasons why celebrating is so important in manifesting with the Law of Attraction:
It improves your mood - It's hard to be down when you're having a party. Even if it's just a happy dance when your favorite song comes on the radio, celebrating always improves your mood.
Keeps you focused on what you want - One of the rules of manifesting is to focus on what you want and ignore what you don't want. When you're celebrating you're rejoicing in something happy which leaves little room for those "don't wants" to creep in.
Sends joy out to the Universe - We are constantly sending out vibes to the Universe. When you're celebrating you're sending out vibes like joy, happiness, delight, giddiness, and so on. And when you consider that the Universe reflects back what you send out, those things are pretty desirable vibes to be transmitting.
Helps you feel successful - Celebrating and feeling successful go hand in hand. Think of how many celebrations you've participated in that are around accomplishments or happy occasions. Each time you celebrate a success, no matter how small, you give yourself a little more confidence that the next time will be a success too.
Reminds you how important the small stuff is - When you take time to celebrate small things you'll realize they add up to a general feeling of celebration about life which is very important in manifesting. So go ahead, celebrate that penny you found on the ground...it's a message from the Universe that life is indeed abundant!
Takes your mind off your worries - It's hard to be down when you're having a party. When you celebrate you focus on the excitement of the moment leaving very little space in your mind for your worries.
Fosters appreciation and gratefulness - The more you celebrate the more you'll find things to appreciate and be grateful for. Being grateful and appreciative is another secret of successful manifesters that's well worth developing in yourself.
