My Bubble: Chasing Marathoners In HongKong

This is a personal experience at the Standard Chartered HongKong International Marathon through the lens of a wannabe camerawoman ...

20.02.11 > Heading out from our hideout @ 5.15am

Waiting for the transit to the starting line ...

On transit to Tsim Sha Tsui ... the nearest station to the starting line

Almost reaching the start at Nathan Road ...

First stop to lighten every bit of weight ...

Every drop of weight counts ...

Where it all begins ...

The long and the short journey ...

The point of no return ... except to be sweeped!

There goes Lo Kong in the blue raincoat ...

Back on the MTR to scout for the marathoners' trail ...

Next station ... Cheung Sha Wan

Nope not this station either ... Lai Chi Kok

The point where full meets half ...

Lai King MTR Station ... sniffing out the marathoners' trail
... unfortunately no good spots!

Getting back to catch the half-marathoners begin their action ...

Back at the starting line on Nathan Road ...

Meeting special people along the way ...

Caught Viv flag-off @ 9.25am

A rush to catch the marathoners emerge from the underwater Harbour Tunnel ...

Another 4km for the marathoners ...

Marathoners are back on the island ...

Loud supporters overhead ...

Rushing back to the finish line ...

Arrived back at Causeway Bay MTR station ...

The last KM for all ...

Finally ... the FINISH!!!

This the end of my chase ...

Lo Kong ran the race ... I chased the runners ... our rewards!
