What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

So quickly, it's another week swooshed by silently. Amidst cool weather and the quiet tranquility of my surroundings, I am grateful that:

1. I am living in a country that still safe and stable in its environment and economy.
2. I am living in a country that still have some sense of inter-racial tolerance.
3. I am living in a country where the voices of the people can still be heard.

On top of that, I am grateful that I have finally fulfilled some milestones that I had set out to do not too long ago (<3years). Slowly but surely.

2 Bubbles:

We have had a reminder that the US is still home to too many small-minded people, but thankfully they are just an embarrassing, annoying minority. I've seen too many comments that Japan deserved the destruction because of their attack on Pearl Harbor almost 70 years ago. By that logic I hate to think what the US may deserve.

But as you said, at least we allow their voices to be heard.

Sometimes it is hard to guess what are the kind of people who make our neighbors, colleague, friends and sadly family too.

It's better to have their voices heard, else we shall never know the foe or friend that's standing right next to us.
