A Note Of Awareness #35

Gifts, healing and learning can come through challenges. The situation could be one from which you learn, grow and become more of who you are. Challenges can also serve as wake up calls when you are out of alignment with your true self, disconnected from your path or heading in the wrong direction.

That said, problems can hide gifts, as well as insights, healings and positive change. Some challenges may turn out to be blessings in disguise. Most rarely see the bigger picture or the know the full extent of their soul’s path from their everyday perspectives.

From the law of attraction stand point, your reality is manifested through what you either choose or allow at some level, consciously or otherwise. Responsibility brings freedom and empowerment; the more you take responsibility for your life, the more you are able to change it.

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves.
The process never ends until we die.
And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.

3 Bubbles:

Far too many adults in the US want to blame their parents or blame bad childhood experiences for any failure or problems they encounter. They don't take responsibility for themselves and acknowledge they have the power to make it right. This annoys me greatly as I have siblings who are like that.

PS - I also hear people make excuses for criminals--killers even. "Aww, poor Joey grew up in a bad neighborhood, so he can't help that he has no respect for human life." Total crap!

Hi Rick, can't say I'm not in total agreement with you. I guess pointing the finger at others or situations is easier than to accept responsibility. If only they know that when they point their finger, there are 3 fingers pointing back at them.

Well, that's why sometimes we have to be selfish and keep ourselves sane by helping ourselves first without any guilt. We can't help those who don't wish to be helped and let them drag us back. We've got to move forward.
