My Bubble: Getting In Tune With Normalcy

Hey there my blog-friends!  I am back and it is certainly great to be back.  It is exactly 2 weeks to the dot since I left my blog space to get my first peek of Europe.

Of course, I did not travel all over Europe ... my pockets wouldn't allow it but I did get to see Paris, London, Manchester and Zurich.  Awesome sights to behold but the weather was a real spoiler though.  Cold and rainy almost throughout our trip there which inadvertently deprived pretty much of my sight-seeing plans.

Lo kong's plans to run the marathons in Paris and Zurich were successful but was unexpectedly challenged by extreme weather conditions from almost zero temperatures to strong winds, freezing rain, blinding sand-storm and painful hailstorm.  It was certainly a 'once in a life-time' experience that will be edged in his memory forever but were the marathons worth all that sufferings?  That you have got to ask him.

If you ask me, I'd certainly say 'NOT!'  I was sharing the same struggles waiting to capture his moment of glory at the finish line.  Almost zero temperatures, cold winds, freezing rain, blinding sand-storm and hailstorm but no medal to compensate ... boo hoo hoo!!!

This will be a short comeback post for now as I am still recovering from the jet lag ... 12 hours flying across 6 time zones!  It's the longest flight I've taken so far.

Stay tune!

Affirmation Of The Week ...

I refused to be bound by my past pains and mistakes. I am moving forward and with every step I have to maintain the belief in myself and my wisdom. They are invaluable wisdom gained through my past ups and downs that has guided me to the life I live today.

This is my affirmation of the week ...

My Bubble: A Leave Of Absence

By now lo kong and I have already completed our 4 days stay in Paris where he has also completed his 42.195km run in the 36th Edition of Marathon de Paris.  We departed from Paris and arrived into London on the Eurostar yesterday evening.  As we have purchased our hop on hop off bus tickets, we will be busily taking in the sights around the city.

Big Bus Tours London

Internet access may not be available at our most convenient time but I will try to update on my blog post whenever I can.  Perhaps more recent updates of my activities during my absence here could be observed over at my Facebook.  I am otherwise on a leave of absence from Blogger for the whole week until my return on 27 April 2012.

Stay cool and cheers!!!

Affirmation Of The Week ...

I am travelling at the moment. Today I am already in London and I am excitedly waiting to take in the sights around London on the Big Bus Tours Hop On Hop Off. There are a lot of famous landmarks to see, walking tours to gain insights, a river cruise to ride and museums to check-out. Oh, not forgetting some shopping if they are really really cheap!

This is my affirmation for the week ...

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

A big part of your gratitude practice is to affirm your appreciation to the Universe on a daily basis for the abundance  and good things that have come your way or that are existing in your life.  Affirming your gratitude on a daily basis can bring peace to your life.

Affirming your appreciation will help you recognize that you can have what you most want and need in order to reap the fulfilling life that you deserve.  Whether it is money, love, happiness or joy ... you deserve it all!

Having a gratitude list can be the simplest way to affirm your thankfulness.  You can actually call it your affirmation cum appreciation.  It needn't be long-winded that  you end-up forgetting what's on the top of your list by the time you reach at the bottom.  Here's my random list of gratitude for the week;

I am FREE ... released to be Uniquely Me!

1.  I am grateful for my freedom ... the freedom to break out of my shell, the freedom to express myself, the freedom to simply be myself!

2.  I am grateful that I am freed from the self-sabotaging habits of the past.

3.  I am grateful for the freedom to travel ... to embrace the different cultures and landscape in foreign lands.

4.  I am grateful for the freedom to do whatever I like whenever I like ... to blog, to write, to exercise, to cook etc.

5.  I am grateful that I am freed from the pain that was troubling my shoulders for the past few weeks after 2 sessions of reflexology.

Law Of Attraction: Making The Decision To Act

No matter how long your list of desires or how powerful your intention statement are, you are unlikely to be heading into a millionaires' club anytime soon, meet your soul-mate or get the body of your dreams if you just rest on your laurels all day. The Universe is not going to deliver them to you if you are not willing to lift a finger. In order for the law of attraction to transform your life, you must be willing to take action. Results can only come from your actions and actions are the results of your decisions. So how can you hope to achieve whatever you want in life if you do not make any deliberate decisions?

Whether you realize it or not, everyone including you makes decision every minute of the day and every day. Decision-making can be anything from simple things such as what to eat or what to wear to bold, life-changing decisions like changing jobs or venturing into business or getting married and starting a family. So if you want to harness the law of attraction and create the life of your dreams, you will need to make a decision on what you want in life. How can you be motivated into action if you do not know exactly what is it that you want in the first place?

Majority of people pass through life with unconscious decision-making. They live life by default, reacting to circumstances that happened to them. Any conscious decisions made are based on these reactions which may or may not bring the results that are anticipated. Successful people on the other hand understand the impact of making conscious decisions. They know that decision-making lies right at the core of deliberate creation in the law of attraction. Making conscious decisions will lead them to live their life by design which means that they are proactive in creating the life that they yearn for.

Knowing whether you are making the right decisions can often be difficult and frustrating because decision-making is influenced by your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Most people make decisions without paying attention to the state of their mood. Making important decisions should be done only while you are in a neutral mood where positive or negative thoughts, feelings and emotions are at the very minimal. It is therefore essential to learn how to control your thoughts, feelings and emotions so that they do not impede your ability to make good decisions. Learning to control them will help you to work effectively with the law of attraction.

It is reassuring that the law of attraction will always be there for you and lend you the support you need to make good decisions but always remember that only you will know what is best for you. Learn to listen to your gut feelings. Trusting your intuition will certainly help you feel more confident in the decisions you make.

A Day With God In My Bubble ...

Prayer is the greatest precautionary measure we can take against falling away from the living God. Neglect and soon we will forsake the worship altogether. God wants to hear from me and you.  He wants to be close to us and love us. Let's draw close to Him.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.”
[ Matt. 5:6 ]

Lord, today we have reached our destination safely.
Thank you for your blessings and your protection every time we travel anywhere.
You have kept my family safe and healthy and provide for us in times of our needs.
I trust in You always, Amen!

Note of Awareness #41

Whether it is the law of attraction or any other self-improvement efforts that you want to make it work successfully for you, they will have to begin with one thing … your decision. So decide with your heart now …

Decide that this day will be productive and consequential, and it will be. Decide to rise above the petty distractions, and you’re already on your way.

Decide that there are valuable opportunities in the challenges, and you’ll find those opportunities. Decide to make a positive difference, and you’ll have what is necessary to do so.

There are many factors in life over which you have no direct control. And yet even with those things, you can decide how to handle them.

Decide to live and work and play from a perspective of love and gratitude. Decide to greet each day, each moment, and each new situation with a determination to make the world a better place.

Life is a continuous series of choices. Decide where you want those choices to lead, and put yourself on your own path to fulfillment.

When you know what you desire, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to bring it about. Decide to live the very best life you can imagine, and delight in making it happen.

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Do you believe that your past somehow determines your future?  If you do, I guess you will have to rethink again!

We are not the prisoner of our past.  Our past does not dictate our future.  We do!  We have the control over our future through our thoughts about our past, present and the future we want which inadvertently influence our feelings that contribute to the way we act.  Our actions result in the effects that we will experience in the future.  So wouldn't it be wonderful if we can continuously be at the helm of a perfect future all the time.

"If you have lived, take thankfully the past."
~ John Dryden ~

Being grateful is a start.  Gratitude is about being thankful for our past and present which creates positive vibrations throughout our body, mind and spirit.  When we think positively about our past and present, we increased our capacity for positive energy that draw more happiness into our future.  So don't stay stuck in an unhappy past.  You are in charge!

Once again it is the end of another wonderful week and I am happy to share my random list of gratitude;

1.  I am grateful for the serenity of this holy week.
2.  I am grateful that I did not shirk my responsibility to attend mass on Good Friday.
3.  I am grateful for a wonderful day I spent with my sister.
4.  I am grateful for the continuous flow of assignments every week.
5.  I am grateful for the timely payments I received.
6.  I am grateful for the all the available options in my life and the freedom to choose freely!

Dear blog-friends ... I hope you have your list of gratitude too that will bring out the positive vibes from inside you for more abundance to flow into your life.

Cheers & Happy Easter!!

A Day With God In My Bubble ...

It's Good Friday!   It is the culmination of the Holy Week which had begun on Palm Sunday, April 1st. This is the day Christians around the world commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross to bring us salvation.  Today is the day we appreciate how Jesus had willingly suffered in our place and absorbed all our ignorance and wrongdoings.  Why?  Because He so loved us!

Luke 23:34 ~ "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

There is always a deep darkness to Good Friday.  It reminds us about sufferings and sacrifices, betrayals and loyalty as well as bitterness and love.  Good Friday teaches us about humanity ... about what life can do to us, what we can do to one another,  the helplessness during our sufferings and the loneliness when our cries are unheeded.  Good Friday also teaches us about faith, trust and courage to face our challenges in solitude. It is a day we realize that love and forgiveness will give light to our tunnel of darkness.

This afternoon's Good Friday Mass at the Church of Divine Mercy was fully occupied with parishioners from all walks of life where I met some familiar faces and some new faces.  We were all there bearing only one purpose ... to give thanks to our God the Father that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for us and to seek God's blessing as we journey through Passiontide with our Lord, reminding ourselves of our Lord's lessons for us.

To all my blog-friends ... May God Bless You!

Law Of Attraction: Do You Know What Moves You?

The world today is filled with so many challenges and it can sometimes become a tough competition just to survive. That’s why many people are drawn to learning the law of attraction to help them overcome these challenges and competitions in order to achieve the fulfilling life. But this universal law does not work alone. It is also important to find ways that works to enhance your trust in yourself, your self-esteem, confidence, enthusiasm and energy to face all these challenges and competitions. It is what you would call as ‘self-motivation.’

Self-motivation is a very important part of everyone's life. You need doses of it every day from just to get out of bed to getting into the shower, walking out the door to work, completing a day’s work at the office, getting the much required exercise or eating a balance diet. Everyone needs motivation as a driving force that will prod them along even at the worst case scenario when the going seems so impossible.

Do you need motivation? Of course you do! We all do too!

Are you frustrated by how some people seemed to be enjoying everything they want in their life so easily while you struggle to achieve one of your goals? If you are trying to get the law of attraction to work for you, then you have got to find out what motivates you to keep up with your daily visualization, self-talk, belief system or anything else that you need to do consistently in order to turn your dreams into your reality. Self-motivation will make you initiate all the necessary actions and stick to it like a habit. It is very personal as different people have different motivators although the majority does share several common ones like money, recognition, promotions and relationships.

However, you need to realize that while self-motivation creates a long-term motivation for you, it does need work to prevent it from waning. Losing or lack of self-motivation can be damaging or sometimes to the extent of complicating your life. Maintaining the ammunitions to your firing power for the long haul is not dependent only on any external influences such as the ones mentioned earlier. External influences tend to be short-lived and as soon as the threat or reward loses their impact or disappears the motivation will quickly dissipates.

The law of attraction works by utilizing the power within you. So does lasting self-motivation should come from the inner you. First and foremost, get rid of any distractions that may be side-tracking you from the things you really want and need to do. Distractions can confuse you and create a lack of focus, determination and discipline. You need to be 100% sure why you want what you want in your life. If it is more money that you seek, ask yourself why? Or if you want recognition, ask yourself the deeper purpose why. Knowing the real reasons behind your goals, dreams and aims create a deeper meaning for your self-motivation. So create the list of all your goals, dreams and aims in order to keep you on track. Every time you feel a lack of motivation, you can refresh yourself by running through your list to remind yourself of the reasons for all the hard work you are putting up with.

Remember that the basic fundamental of the law of attraction is about ‘like attracts like.’ A full understanding of the true reason or purpose behind your goals, dream and aim will give rise to a continuing positive motivation from deep within you and that increases the positive vibration you are sending to the Universe. The more positively motivated you are, the closer you are to what you want to manifest into your reality.

My Bubble: It's A Vacation Cum Marathon!

I have never imagined having the opportunity to travel as much as I have this past year. My travel experience has so far taken me to Sydney in Australia, North Island NZ, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzen & Zhuhai in China, Macau & Hong Kong, Tokyo in Japan, Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket & Haatyai in Thailand and not forgetting the nearest across the causeway to Singapore.

These places had once upon a time only been a dream. In exactly a week to the dot, I will be departing for the Europe continent for my very first time. I will be touching down in Paris on Thursday morning (6.40am their local time). We will be in Paris for 4 days before heading off to London on the Eurostar for 5 days of sightseeing which will include a tour of the Old Trafford in Manchester. After that we will be flying into Zurich for another 5 days stay followed by a scenic train ride back to Paris for our flight home.

As I have mentioned previously in my past posts, our travels overseas are either a 'vacation cum marathon' or a 'marathon cum vacation' escapades. So contrary to some beliefs, we are actually on a 'vacation cum marathon' adventure this time because lo kong managed to find 2 coinciding marathons after we finalised our travel plans ... Marathon de Paris on 15 April 2012 and Zurich Marathon on 22 April 2012. There goes 4 days off our vacation days!

My Poem: My Mind Is Calm

This is the very first poem I ever wrote and it was a time when my mind was gaining calm after a stormy period of unexpected betrayal in my life. I survived and I have risen stronger and wiser today!

Note of Awareness #40

If you want success to come into your life, you need motivation. The law of attraction is the core of motivation. When you’ve found the clarity of what you seek in life, you are inspired and moved to act. So how moved are you today?

Self-motivation is what propels the majority of people into getting what they want done or overcome the toughest event in their lives. It is never easy to motivate oneself but when you aspire to have the good life, you will find the way to motivate yourself.

Experts agreed that motivation is a personal thing, and not all people are motivated the same way or for the same reasons. So, before you are able to motivate yourself you need to know what motivates you.
