Today is a day of busyness. It is the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year and all Chinese across the world are preparing to usher in the year of the Horse ... the 7th of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac that remains an auspicious symbol to the Chinese.
Chinese New Year holds great values of traditions and cultures where families get together, reunited to share the gratitude for the blessings received during the past year. It is the start of spring where everyone's renewed with hopefulness for more good lucks, fortunes and happiness.
All required cleaning at home is completed, the decors are up and now I am looking forward to dinner where everyone will cramp around the dinner table to enjoy a sumptuous spread of home-cooked specialities.
