Today, inside my bubble ...

It’s a solemn day today inside my bubble for I have to bear the sad news that one of my brothers, the second eldest of all 5 siblings, has just passed away yesterday. He’s 60 and had been gravely ill since the end of December 2008. Although he is a brethren from the same womb of our mother, his aloofness towards the family had distant him from the rest of us for so many years. A distance that had cut through our bond in blood for whatever prejudices none of us could yet unravel.

“Forgiveness is the final form of love.”
~ Reinhold Neibuhr ~

We have all forgiven so long ago. It is sad that this loss could only be endured from a distance for we had not been welcomed into his family’s grief. But nonetheless, blood is thicker than water. It is still our duty as brethrens and sisters to observe respect and customary rites for him. No one and no circumstances can deny us this right.

“The weak can never forgive.
Forgiveness is the attributes of the strong.”
~ Mahatma Ghandhi ~

With his passing now, is the hatchet buried so far into the depth of the earth that it shall never again be seen in the future?

God pardons like a mother,
who kisses the offense into everlasting forgetfulness.
~ Henry Ward Beecher ~

Hi Diamondmum

Thanks. Whatever we've done wrong, only he will know. As far as all of us siblings are concern, we love him all the same.

Walking in forgiveness is a beautiful path. God bless you and your family.
