Today, inside my bubble ...

I've already said over and over again ... I'm not into running ... I've got NO PASSION for it at all! Am I not loud enough or somebody's got to be deaf??? @#$% ... @#$%

Enough already! Yes, I do run ... not because I want to but because I have to ... health reasons!

Tomorrow's May Day, a public holiday. Ray and his running mates are meeting up to join a breakfast run organised by Klang Pacers Athletic Club at a neighbouring community, Setia Alam in Shah Alam. Shortest route's 4.5km but the gang's going for the 11km and 21km. That's leaves me and my trusty camera with nothing much to do, right? No mind ... I can always catch-up on my current read "The Power of Now" or maybe I can play alittle of the PSP while waiting for them.

Well, my @#$% darling of a hubby Ray, has so conveniently suggested that I run and snap! Hmmm ... not mentioning the fact that I'm still trying to figure out how to use the camera ... to run and snap??? Let's see if I can manage any photos to post on my blog tomorrow or their newly launch running blog at http://kotakemuningpacers.blogspot.com/.

"MIND OVER MATTER" ... the mind is more powerful than the body! Through the power of concentration and positive thinking, people can even walk on hot coals without getting burned ... so it shall be for me tomorrow ... I shall run, snap and complete that 4.5km route!

Let this be my challenge to me!

Laughter In My Bubble ...

A woman walks up to an old man sitting in a chair on his porch. "I couldn't help but notice how happy you look," she said. "What's your secret for a long, happy life?" "I smoke three packs a day, drink a case of beer, eat fatty foods, and never, ever exercise," he replied. "Wow, that's amazing," she said, "How old are you?" "Twenty-six."

Law Of Attraction: Working Among Negative Co-Workers …

It’s a great morning! The alarm rang right on the dot and we woke-up with every intention to have a pleasant and fruitful day. Sitting on the bed with our feet firmly on the floor, we gave thanks in appreciation of the new day. Took a nice hot shower, we were even grateful for the water. We start to visualize the perfect day ahead. After a hearty breakfast, kissed and bid bye-bye to our spouse, probably the kids are not up yet, as we scoot-off to the office.

Oh, the morning traffic jam … those inconsiderate drivers, jumping queue. Never mind … maintained our composure … reached the office safe and sound. Wished everyone that crossed our path “Good Morning” with a wide smile, even the cleaner. Our day is just going to be as we envisioned.

With every intention to do our best and progress with our career in order to provide a comfortable world for ourselves and our family, we put all our positive energy into our work. When the money start rolling in for the company, wonder if our employer and our co-workers’ going to thank us for all our positive thoughts and feelings that go towards making it happen. Haven’t even mention the ‘PROFITS’ yet! It’s alright as long as we’re happy.

Then our employer steps in … constipated and sour-faced, ranting on and on during meetings … TARGETS NOT MET! SLOW COLLECTIONS! POOR CASHFLOW! INDISCIPLINE! Well, shouldn’t he/she asked themselves why?

Next we start to hear our co-workers complaining … NO INCREMENT! NO BONUS! NO BENEFITS! FAVORITISM! Blah, blah, blah …

Now we feel our day is shot! All the negative remarks … all the negative energies … like an arrow aimed right at us! Then we have cynical co-workers who can’t bear to be outdone by others … co-workers with personal agendas who do not care who they run-down … spiteful co-workers aiming their poison arrows right at our back! The world of office politics … BACK-STABBINGS!!!

Why can’t these people just concentrate on the jobs they are paid to do and do them well? Accept that others can be better than them and strive to improve themselves … just be happy for others … the workplace will definitely be a happier place.

How do we apply the Law of Attraction in this world full of negative emotions and thoughts? How do we overcome all these negative effects that eventhough unintentional, can still rub on our nerves?

All said and done … let’s not forget. The Law of Attraction enforces that we attract all the good and bad in direct proportions to our beliefs. What we get is what we think of. To know more of what we can do for ourselves, continue here

Today, inside my bubble ...

When I first started my blog way back in October 2008, I checked through quite a number of widgets to be added. Like real only ... a newbie who wanted her blog to look like a pro! One of this widgets was the Google Page Rank. Well, got to give me credit for the POSITIVE THINKING though.

Anyway, did the PR check and voila! Guess what was my page ranking ... Shy Girl ZEROOOOOO!!!

After that I never gave this ranking thing much thought ... until today. Out of the blue, it just crept into my mind, googled for it, did a PR check again ...

Surprise! Surprise!! My blog's page rank has gone from 0 to 1! Huh! 1/10! A little nudge but ... LOL! Never knew my blog can have an increased page rank in the first place ... must be doing something right unknowingly ... now I've got to find out more on how to increase my page rank.

Something new for me to pick up about this world of blogging!

Today, inside my bubble ...

Sleeping Sleeping Oh gosh! Got up so early this morning. It wasn't even bright and early since it wasn't sunrise yet. 3.15 AM! Sleepy

I was following Ray and his running mates, Stephen and Lim, to Bidor for the 'Bidor Half-Marathon'. Bidor is a small town about one-and-a-half hours' drive from Shah Alam or Kuala Lumpur. It is a favourite stopover for travellers and foodies seeking fruits such as bell fruit, seedless guava, pomelo and tamarind pods and the local snacks such as chicken biscuits and yam dumplings.

However the star of the town is the 'Pun Chun Restaurant' popularly known for its 'duck thigh noodles' and 'wantan noodles'. A stopover is never complete without digging into these 2 specialities. Eventhough they had recently opened a branch right here in my neighbourhood, I still feel it is more authentic in Bidor. So, the plan is on ... we are not going to miss out on these noodles!

We reached Bidor just alittle before 6 am and had our breakfast right at 'Pun Chun Restaurant'. Noodles not ready yet but their coffee and 'pau' was good enough to kick-start the morning.

The Bidor Half-Marathon was held at the Dewan Muhibbah and was flagged off at 7 am. It was categorised into 12 categories of either 21km, 10km or the 3km fun run, divided according to age groups. Medals and certificates were issued to all participants who finished the run within the qualifying time.

Well, Ray and his running mates had quite a fulfilling run. It's supposed to be part of their training for the coming Kuala Lumpur Marathon in June. Too bad, Cheryl (Stephen's wife) who's an avid runner too, could not make it for the run today.

Laughter In My Bubble ...

A mother is driving her little girl to her friend's house for a play date..

'Mommy', the little girl asks, 'how old are you?'

'Honey, you are not supposed to ask a lady her age', the mother replied. 'It's not polite'.

'OK', the little girl says, 'How much do you weigh?'

'Now really', the mother says, 'those are personal questions and are really none of your business'.

Undaunted, the little girl asks, 'Why did you and Daddy get a divorce?'

'That's enough questions, young lady! Honestly!' The exasperated mother walks away as the two friends begin to play.

'My Mom won't tell me anything about her', the little girl says to her friend.

'Well', says the friend, 'all you need to do is look at her driver's license. It's like a report card, it has every-thing on it'.

Later that night the little girl says to her mother, 'I know how old you are. You are 32'.

The mother is surprised and asks, 'How did you find that out?'

'I also know that you weigh 130 lbs..'

The mother is past surprised and shocked now. 'How in Heaven's name did you find that out?'

'And,' the little girl says triump-hantly, 'I know why you and daddy got a divorce'.

'Oh really?' the mother asks. 'Why?'

'Because you got an F in sex ...'

Law Of Attraction: Why Affirmations Without Belief And Feelings Don’t Work …

We use positive affirmations to try to uplift the quality of our life and tap into our feelings to release positive energies into the Universe. Positive energy is one of the basic principles by which all things are manifested and it operates in every aspect of our lives, whether we’re aware of it or not. Becoming aware of it and consciously working with it can totally transform our life!

We can’t change our current circumstances with just words. Affirmations creates the positive thoughts in our mind while belief creates the positive feelings in our soul, that’s so needed to emanate these positive energies. We need to belief and work deliberately with the Law of Attraction to change our moods and thoughts to those that feels better than what we are currently focusing on.

If our affirmation declares that “I’m prosperous and joyous” and yet we do not believe in it at all because there’s still a stack of unpaid bills on our desk, then our feelings are saying something very different from what our words are saying. If our feelings and beliefs are vibrating an energy of lack and insufficient money, that is what we will draw to ourselves.

So … it is therefore important that we reach for the better feelings and thoughts that’s true to us, the ones that we truly believe in. We will then be overwhelmed with a sense of relief and solid confidence that’s aligned with a strong, grounded energy that’s pulling us along into a broader, deeper life of joy, excitement and a whole lot of new possibilities. If we keep focusing our attention on this new feelings and thoughts, we will literally change our vibration. Being magnetic beings and by keeping as much attention as we can in this new direction, we will attract to ourselves better and better circumstances.

Each of us is on our own unique path in this universe. Different things are right for each of us at different times. We are the only one that really knows what’s best for ourselves by how we feel inside. By making deliberate choices on those we believe in, we will begin to change into a happier and grateful state and release ourselves from being a victim of the outside forces.

Super-charge your beliefs and feelings now in order to manifest changes and improvements in our life to those we really really desire!

The “SMS of Internet”, it enables us to send and receive short text messages over the Twitter website or through mobile phones. It’s a FREE service but use through SMS, one will incur the standard service provider charges.

So … friends and readers … “What are you doing?”

Today, inside my bubble ...

OMG! I’VE JUST LOST IT!!
I’m in plain violation of the very fundamental principle of the Law of Attraction. FEAR! That sneaky culprit that attracts all that we do not want into our life … it’s a NO-NO! Anxiety stems from fear and that’s what I’ve been feeling the whole morning.

WHY? Why did I succumbed to it?

Well … Nick has been driving for almost 3 weeks now. No doubt, he has all the freedom to drive within our neighbourhood but outside? No Way! Not without Ray or myself by his side. As much as he has pestered and as much as I’ve tried to avoid the inevitable, I know I will have to relent to him driving to college on his own sooner or later.

That’s precisely what I had to do this morning. I had intended for him to drive me to work and subsequently he can drive to college from there. The morning dread just gave me butterflies and jello limbs. I had to popped 2 aspirin to counter the anxiety-related headache. I know it’s just a maternal worry but I should know better! After all, I’m supposed to be a Law of Attraction practitioner. Anyway, despite the dread and worry, I tried reminding myself of my own silliness.

Thank God! He had arrived safely at the college. Now … I better make sure I don’t succumb to this mental distress again tomorrow ... arghhhhhh!!!

Today, inside my bubble ...

Zzzzzz ... zzzzzz ... I'm kinda half-asleep right now as I make this post ...
I was up very early this morning coz Ray had arranged for a morning run with a group of friends. Well ... as I told him the night before, if I can't get up in the morning ... please graciously count me out :(

Oooooo ... that cozy warm bed ... I could have slept for few hours more ...
Why on earth would I want to get out of bed so early on a Sunday morning???

The truth is I've been on a new project since last Sunday. Ray and his running mates had decided to form a running club for our neighbourhood called 'Kota Kemuning Pacers' and I've been tasked to set-up the blog. So, today I'm supposed to gather some new photo shots for the blog. In a positive light, I did managed to take some good shots, aside from completing a 4km run myself.

Law of Attraction: Instilling Positive Communication ...

Communication is a very powerful God-given tool. It allows us to get connected with all the people around us. Family, friends and business associates. The ability to master our communication skill in the most effective way will enable us to obtain almost anything we want. However, if it’s used wrongly, it can also destroy whatever we have. There is no better way to communicate then to practice truthful communication i.e. communicating with your heart.

We can apply the Law of Attraction to create a positive and effective connection with others. Visualize ourselves as a good conversation partner and see ourselves as someone with whom people would like to talk to. Feel the experience of pleasant conversation and communication in our visualization. After a few session of visualization, we will become more confident as our subconscious mind starts to attract more suitable circumstances that will allow us to improve our communication skill.

When communicating with others, it is important for us to remember to observe the following as much as possible:-

  1. Communicate openly, with honesty in our heart. A truthful person will deserve respect and admiration. People can easily detect when we are superficial.

  2. Express ourselves with only kind words. Remember how the of rippling effect offensive words can have on our emotions so as to avoid triggering any hurt, anger or hostility that only wastes our energy.

  3. Try to use simple words that are easily understood, irrespective it is verbal or written. It’s easier for our listeners to create the images in their mind.

  4. Use body gestures that convey our confidence and sincerity. Maintain eye contact during conversations to convey our interest while a firm handshake denotes confidence.

  5. Be quick to apologise for our mistakes. Resolve any disagreements or misunderstandings at the soonest.

Communicating effectively is a matter of emotions. Be tactful towards our kins, friends and acquaintances. People will always appreciate our consideration for their feelings and well-being, thus creating pleasant conversations. These are crucial habits to master in order to allow the Law of Attraction to work for us. Things in our life will start to change for the better only if we begin to change our positively.
