There's a common saying that "MONEY is the root of all evil." Is it fair to put the blame on a medium of exchange, a tool of trade for mankind's weaknesses? Nevertheless, MONEY remains our means of survival in this civilised age.

Agree with ya, I don't put blame on a non-living thing.
That's the thing, how can money breed evil? They also said money cannot bring happiness, it's another misconception.
It's all in the people ... whatever's bad, we did it to ourselves.
