My Bubble: Kids ... You Can't Help But Love Them!
I just went visiting my ex-colleague earlier today. Jennifer has just shifted into her new 3-storey semi-detached home at The Peak in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. It's such an exclusive gated and guarded community, nestled in Bukit Prima in Cheras. Her house is huge and her lush garden ... this is something that hubby and I are hoping to have the least of. Anyway, she told me she had engaged the Dallas lawn maintenance service to keep her garden looking vibrant and healthy.
Surprisingly when I stepped into her house, it was still very bare. It seemed her interior designer husband has been too tied-up with his business projects that he haven't had the time to finalise the plans for their own home. Well, looks like business comes first ... no choice since it's their family's rice bowl.
Anyway, while Jennifer was showing me around the house, her two kids were fighting over some kids backpack in the hall. Her 3-year-old son, Ivan will be starting at a nearby nursery soon and she had bought him an army-print kids backpack. So as her 2-year-old daughter, Lizzie will not be left-out, she bought her a personalized duffle bag. Unfortunately, the little tomboy wanted her brother's instead. With the house so bare and huge, we could hear the echoes of the children screaming and wailing. It finally ended when Jennifer threatened that both of them won't be able to attend nursery if they don't stop!
Kids ... they are cute and they can be brats but you just love them anyhow!!!
By the way, Jennifer is a very good cook and her specialty is Peranakan cooking. She had prepared my favorite 'Pie Tee' and 'Jiu-hu Char' for our brunch together. No sooner, the kids started to bicker between them again and this time it's about who can attend nursery and who can't! By then, I've learnt Jennifer's trick ... she gave them the same earlier threat and there was instantaneous silence as they gobbled down their food.
I had such a good laugh as I thanked my lucky stars ... I only had one child!

My Bubble: Gave Away & They Return ...
It was such a wonderful surprise when my cousin popped-in on Sunday evening, on her way back to Singapore. She and her family had just went for a short-break to Cameron Highlands, a highland at 5000ft above sea level with many vegetable and fruit farms and also home to many tea plantations.
They had bought so much fruits, vegetables and plants ... gosh!!! their SUV were fill to the brim! I wonder it's actually a holiday or a shopping spree of some kind??? They left us packets and packets of strawberries, cherry toms, guava, local oranges, pomeloes and veggies ... now my fridge is full beside the different titbits and jam as well. I don't mind actually ... free food!!!
But plants??? That another matter altogether!
When I shifted from our old house, dear old hubby had given away most of our plants and planters. He only kept 3 big outdoor planters for his precious bougainvilleas. I tried to refused the plants that my cousin bought because hubby will end-up giving them away later when we shift to our new condo. Unfortunately, he was so adamant that he left 5 plants behind when we were not looking. What to do?
Now we've got to look for a few outdoor planters for these plants. Luckily one of them came in a beautiful decorative planter ... one less to look for!

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
It's just a blink of the eyes and here I am ... putting up another week's gratitude list. Time flies but things were alittle slower for me this week but I am glad there are still so many things ... big and small ... to be grateful for.
My random list of gratitude this week;
1. I'm grateful to achieve my 1000th entry for this blog.
2. I'm grateful to receive a number of money-making blogging opportunities.
3. I'm grateful to the Lord for all his blessings ... kicking my butt when I'm lazy, shedding a light when I'm alittle hazy in my thoughts and giving me strength to maintain my spirituality.
Spare alittle Me-time for yourselves and see how much things you can be thankful for each day. Thankfulness will unlock the door to endless happiness and joy.

Law Of Attraction: Growing Old Gracefully
Growing old is an inevitable phase of life but yet many of us fear and despair over the onset of this decline in our bodily condition and appearance. Do we need to be miserable … just because the digits of our age has surpassed a 4th, 5th or 6th decade and just because our bodies are slowly beginning to fail us with dry wrinkled skin, lack-lustred eyes and hard-hearing ears? Why are we struggling with a reality that’s beyond our control?
Let’s face it, growing old may not be as bad as most of us think. We may not be able to control the biological changes of aging but we certainly can wrest control of our mental, emotional and physical changes. By recognizing these changes we’re undergoing as we grow older, we have an option to take the necessary steps to help us grow old gracefully.
Before we proceed further, let’s refresh our minds on an important fundamental of the Law of Attraction. This universal law states that “like attracts like” and feeds on the energy of our thoughts and emotions. As such, anything we focus on with strong emotional intent and concentration, we will attract it into existence … be it good or bad.
Let’s not be consumed by the negative ideas of growing old. If we choose to focus on the positive end of growing older, we can eliminate the negative thoughts and emotions that’s overwhelming us. Change the negative focus through meditation, reflection, reading, learning new things or setting new priorities. Embrace growing old as a reason to celebrate life … our achievement, our legacy, our wisdom. Don’t be afraid to face up to new challenges and use them to renew our life over and over again. This will definitely go a long way in prolonging our mental health.
Choosing to control and maintain our physical changes correctly is a great way to keep our health and physical appearance in check. A healthy body will be revived with plenty of energy to accomplish new feats or even attempt new aspirations. Although our bodily decline will eventually catch up but at least, it won’t be too soon when we create a consistent routine to stick to. We can choose to go to the gym, take up a sport, change our diets or eating habits or revamped our lifestyle. A glowing and energetic appearance will certainly be a boost to our emotions and mindset.
We should not fear getting old because we have the power to design our life the way we want it to be. “We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing” … heard that before? Yes or no, we can’t run away from old age. We just have to face it and take the bull by the horn. If it will make us feel any better, we can keep reminding ourselves that we’re not getting old, we’re just getting wiser.

My Bubble: It's 1000th!!!
When I reached my 100th entry in 2008, I was just dreaming whether I'll ever be posting my 500th or 1000th entry in this blog.
Well, I've made it to my 1000th entry today!
Like I've posted when I reached my 100th entry, my blog is where I capture all my positive thoughts and where I sought the motivation to face the nitty-gritty of my daily grind. It has definitely evolved from my initial intention to just share my experiences with the Law of Attraction. This is indeed my lifeline to achieving the best of what the Universe has planned for me ... while I continue to better myself and appreciate all the successes I've achieve thus far.
To all my readers and friends in the blogosphere, thanks for your valuable support. I shall continue to visualise myself posting more and more entries in this space I called "My Bubble".

It's so fast that another week has just flew by and I'm down to another list of gratitudes. This week, my gratitude randomness are:-
1. I'm so grateful for a wonderful potluck on Wednesday night by the neighborhood lake and the cheerful camaraderies among running friends and their family.
2. I am so grateful for the beautiful weather of late ... hot enough to dry the clothes, not too wet to run and breezy to keep us cool.
3. I'm so grateful for the peaceful sleep I've been enjoying lately ... precious slumber.

Law Of Attraction: Empower Your Thoughts
How many of you yearn for a better job, better finances, more love, better health, or many other things that would be specific for each person? Most of us have dreams and desires in life but we sometimes block the opportunities that we have without knowing it. By lacking confidence or not believing in ourselves we can lose out on a myriad of potential outcomes in our lives. You can limit your ability to overcome obstacles and not take advantage of potential circumstances that can be of benefit to you if you don't have an open mind. If you want to empower your thoughts, start by opening your mind to the endless abundance that is possible in our universe.
1. Believe in your ability to attract and have ownership over money and your financial status. However, you must also understand and keep track of your finances. Learn everything you can about making wise savings investments, keeping track of your checkbook balances and being efficient about keeping your credit card balances in a safe range. You are open to everything the universe has to offer you but you must also be knowledgeable, put some effort into, and work towards financial security. Empower yourself with financial knowledge, research and effort. You will be rewarded for your actions.
2. In order to receive love, you must first be able to give love unconditionally. We have all heard this, but it is something we must remember as being very true. You have to be able to love yourself, and give love to others with no strings attached. By giving unconditional love, you will receive love. It is really that simple. Show your loved ones care and compassion, thoughtful gestures and see how they react. When you are ready to fight with your mate, think about the other side of the problem and be open and non-critical. Give a hug for no reason and feel the hug returned to you. Empower others to feel secure and be able to love back, you will benefit as well.
3. There is a multitude of job and work opportunities just waiting for you. If you are having difficulty finding a job or a problem with your career, try a new approach in your thoughts. Look at it from a different perspective or talk to someone else and get their views on it. Maybe a new career or potential great job is just around the corner waiting for you. Empower your thoughts to go into new places and different views.
4. Empower your actions when it comes to your health and fitness. Learn about good nutrition, exercise, medications, vitamins and how to stay healthy. Take responsibility for your body and mind and care for it. Your reward can be a healthy life. It is there for you, just be able to grasp the concepts of good health.
Focus on what you want in life, focus on the positive and abundant offerings and empower yourself by taking responsibility for opening the doors to a wonderful life.

Today's Malaysia Day!
These are the faces of Malaysians making the many colors that paint a beautiful Malaysia. Bangsa Malaysia was introduced by our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. One Malaysia was recently introduced by our current Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Both emphasizes on national unity and ethnic tolerance.
Malaysia celebrated its 53rd birthday on August 31, 2010. Today is Malaysia Day, commemorating the formation of Malaysia in 1963. Will a colourful Bangsa Malaysia with a One Malaysia spirit ever come to be today, tomorrow or somewhere in the near future? I certainly would like to think it will be ... at least for the future of my son, his children, his children's children and the generations to come.

My Bubble: Can It Be Swarovski Please?
I want a pair of Swarovski earrings with a matching Swarovski bracelet please. I'll be happy just the same even if it's only one Swarovski necklace. Dear old hubby is just not listening ... or is he just pretending not to listen?

I'm going to assume that the courier service is late ...

My Bubble: Malaysian Motorcyle Grand Prix 2010
I knew nothing about superbikes until I met hubby. Of course he was a die-hard fan of GP racing wayback then in the 80's and even had his Yamaha RXZ refurbished into a Ducati lookalike. Those were the days of Eddie Lawson and Freddie Spencer ... the two great champions in the two-wheel world who had 7 world titles shared between them.
It was 1985, when I had the first taste of watching the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix live! Back then it was held at the Batu Tiga Speedway Circuit, the only racing circuit in Malaysia before the Sepang International Circuit came into existence. A small-town girl, I was overwhelmed by the hive of activities and engines revving all around but thrilled to the bone with the opportunity to watch a speeding sport ... imagine watching bikes zooming past reaching speeds up to 300kph!
It was a spectacular sight at the small racing circuit, complete with a covered and an uncovered grandstand. The crowd easily exceeded the sitting capacity of 25000 and we could even see spectators watching the grand prix for free from the hills behind the track! Crowd control was excellent as we could enter and exit the place very smoothly. Fence barricades and traffic cones were placed strategically, especially at the parking areas so that everyone knows where to or not to park and prevent possible obstructions. Although I was abit panicky as I've never experienced being part of such a huge crowd before, the presence of stanchions and velvet ropes made me more at ease as the entry and exit queues were very orderly. Everyone had to line-up within the confined path.
That was my first and only experience at a MotoGP and hubby's just bought the tickets for the coming Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit on 9 October 2010. Yay! I'm so looking forward to it!! We'll be seeing Jorge Lorenzo in action!!!

My Bubble: It's Been So Long ... It's A China!
We met 26 years ago when we were both working in a financial institution. I'd joined a year earlier than him and our colleagues thought we would make a nice couple. They arranged for our first date and the rest's history!
It's been 20 years since we took our vows in church and blessed with an only son, Nick ... what else but gratitude and anticipation of a blissful old age together.
I cannot deny ... "I LOVE BEING MARRIED" coz I'll always have a personal finance manager to foot all the bills and I must say;
"IT'S GREAT TO HAVE FOUND THAT ONE ODD GUY THAT I COULD ANNOY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!"
Let's Be Thankful!

Law Of Attraction: Is This For Lazy People ~ Dealing With Misconceptions
I read some feedback in an online group from a person who believed that the Law of Attraction teaches laziness. Afterall, they reasoned, there is no reason to actually do anything if you can truly be, do, and have whatever you want simply by thinking of it. So does that mean that we can all sit around thinking without taking action? Absolutely not!
The movie “The Secret” is one of many sources that introduces the law of attraction to the masses; however, it left many people with an oversimplified explanation of this Universal Law. If you don’t continue seeking to understand Law of Attraction once you’ve been introduced to it, you may indeed have misconceptions such as this one about negating action.
The problem for many people is that they try to make everything happen through their action alone. They don’t understand their power as a spiritual being whose thoughts are always creating. They believe that their hard work, blood, sweat, and tears are the keys to their success. Unfortunately, this way of life often leads to frustration, depression, fear, anxiety, and a slew of other negative emotions.
Joy and success come more naturally to those who, instinctively or otherwise, pre-pave life experiences through thoughts that align with their desires. You may look at such people and say that everything they touch turns to gold, but it is time for you to realize that you can say the same for yourself.
Yes, your thoughts are powerful creative tools that make your reality. Yes, you can be, do, and have whatever you desire. Yes, your thoughts cause you to either allow or disallow that which you desire. And your entire life flows better when you deliberately choose the thoughts that create the perfect environment for your action. But what would life be like if we completely eliminated the action part of the equation—quite boring and unlike living.
A joyful life is not one void of action; it is one full of inspired action. And it is up to you to decide if you will begin replacing your random, ineffective, frenzied actions with inspired actions.

But what would life be like if we completely eliminated the action part of the equation—quite boring and unlike living.
A joyful life is not one void of action; it is one full of inspired action. And it is up to you to decide if you will begin replacing your random, ineffective, frenzied actions with inspired actions.

My Bubble: Eating Marathon!
Just completed a food photography shoot for a neighborhood eatery today. So far, I have shot 23 dishes over 2 days but today alone, I took the pics of 22 dishes. Frankly, that was fun and it goes down as part of my photography training.
A more interesting part of this project is to gobble up the 22 dishes over lunch. It's certainly a eating marathon! So how many people do we need to finish the feat?
Luckily we had 12 members from Kota Kemuning Pacers who were available for lunch. Agonisingly, everyone had to wait for more than one-and-a-half hour ... had to shoot all the 22 dishes first. In the meantime, everyone had to lick their lips and gulp bottomless Chinese tea. Half-an-hour later, the food were all gone ... I guess it wasn't just hunger, the food must be really good.
Hubby hubby ... no worry, you're not forgotten ... packed back one of the dishes for you too!!!

My Bubble: Let's Go Genting!
Eid-ul-Fitr Mubarak is just a day away on Friday, 10 September. This means a much awaited long weekend for all Malaysians, irrespective they are Muslims or non-Muslims. It's a celebration for all, young and old!
First, everyone will be wishing each other "SELAMAT HARI RAYA!" before popping the next question, "Where you heading for the holidays?" While most of the Muslims will be on an exodus to their respective hometowns, the non-Muslims will definitely be joining the rush to some local holiday destinations.
I just tried the same question on hubby earlier, "So where we're heading to this weekend?" Although I kinda knew what the answer would be but I was hopeful that somehow we'll be heading somewhere alittle bit more interesting like Port Dickson or Langkawi. Instead it was the same old destination, "LET'S GO GENTING!" ... urghhh, how boring!!!
He never learned his lessons ... it is always over-crowded at Genting Highlands, even during the weekends! That's because there's always something for everyone from theme parks to theatres to casinos over in Genting and it's just a 45mins drive from the city. I know hubby loves to go to the casinos and Nick loves the theme park but urghhh ... I just can't stand the crowd and the long queues for practically everything.
Unless all the hardcore gamblers are back in their own homes playing at the online casinos this weekend, I've just shot down hubby's idea to go Genting Highlands again. NO WAY JOSE!!!

Whenever I'm at the casino, I'd grumbled why those serious gamblers are not into online gambling that's available right at the comfort of their own homes. If they want, I could actually point them to Online Casino Spotlight, an online casino directory to easily find the world's top online casinos. The website comes complete with up-todate information and reviews, tips on casino selections, exclusive bonuses, casino games rules and strategies. There are so many game choices from poker, roulette to slot-machines. I'm sure there are real money to be won and the opportunities for success could be much greater. Wouldn't online gambling and casino on the net be a more convenient option instead of crowding out gambling novices like us who are trying to enjoy some short-termed thrills of winning?

My Bubble: Do We Really Need One?!
It was quite a relaxing weekend with a public holiday on Friday, followed by another yesterday, our 53rd Independence Day. Having some time on our hand, we took a drive around the neighborhood ... admiring people's home from afar.
One of the homes really caught my fancy and thereon, I noticed several more. This particular home had been renovated to look like an English cottage with white picket fences (well, here in Malaysia it just don't feel safe without a fence of any sort) ... the garden was filled with colorful blooms from daisies, pansies, roses to sunflowers. The most interesting fixture that made it a really looked an authentic English home is the address plaques at the gate. It read "88 Chong Residence" ... beautiful! Home address plaques are just not a common fixture here in our country. Most of us just live with the basic tiny plastic number affixed by the developer. Not many bothered to remove and fix a real proper one.
This gave me an idea for our new home ... our new condo actually. I suggested to fix a 'Whitehall One Line Vertical Address Plaques'. However, hubby wasn't too into it. His instantaneous reaction was "Do we really need one?!" He then shooked his head and added "It's like announcing to the world who we are!"
Well, didn't want to argue much coz our new home won't be ready for another two-and-a-half years. I'll just let it rest for now and keep that idea in mind.
