My Bubble: Let's Unite To Keep MyBlogLog Alive!
It is such a heart-breaking news to hear that Yahoo! is closing down MyBlogLog effective 24 May 2011. I have a MyBlogLog account and I’m sure many of my blogfriends out there have one too. It had been where many of us had begun our blog-friendships and where we had spent countless hours building our network and rapport with one another.
Unfortunately, Yahoo! has not offered any alternative for us to salvage our efforts on and they do not seem to have any intention either. BlogCatalog had made a public offer to Yahoo! to save MyBlogLog. They remained silent. Why is it not acceptable? It makes no sense at all!
After so many years of contributing our efforts to keep their name known, looks like the returns to our investment is only to be left out in the cold. This is NOT FAIR!
Dear blogfriends, let’s unite and voice our discontent over this matter. Hopefully the formidable voices of all bloggers united may bring Yahoo! a change of heart. Grab this badge and let’s show our support for one other towards this cause.

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
Time for my weekly reflection of everything and everyone that has come to pass through my life this past one week, leaving their positive and negative footprints irrespectively .
Good or bad, everything happens for a good reason. Absorbing all in for my own betterment, it has certainly been a very PRODUCTIVE week and I am ever so grateful that the Law of Attraction works for me. Some may be overdue, some timely and some unexpectedly ... all in all LOA WORKS!!!

Law Of Attraction: I Agree It Really Works!
With the hype of "the Secret" movie I am sure there are a lot of people who has made various attempts to visualize what they want but have not achieved the results they desire. To all the skeptics out there, visualization really works. The subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between imagination and reality. You can use visualizations to deal with life's challenges, from being overweight to fear of public speaking. You can heal even yourself and others through visualizing perfect health.
I am a great believer in visualization because I have seen it work in my life and in the life of hundreds of other people. Visualization truly saved my life. I had successfully used visualization to heal myself from thyroid cancer a few years ago. Every morning when I first got up and at night right before I went to bed I visualized myself in perfect health, enjoying fun and healthy activities with the people that I loved. I even created a vision board of myself in perfect health and I made sure I focused on the happy images on my vision board first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I looked at my perfect health vision board and it uplifted my spirits during my healing period.
Visualization is a great tool once you learn how to use it effectively but on the other hand it could be your nemesis if you do not realize its power. If you are unable to visualize exactly what you want, the Law of Attraction can give you the opposite of what you desire and you never see the results you want. Therefore you need to understand the fundamentals of proper visualization so that you can accurately visual what you want and manifest the outcome that you desire. There are certain guidelines for visualization to make it work.
The problem with most people is that they see and feel what they do not want.... and that is what they get fast and often. The law of attraction is the most powerful law in the universe. Basically you get what you think about, whether you want it or not. If you are constantly thinking about the things that you desire, your life experience reflects those things but on the other hand if you are mainly thinking about the things that you do not want, the universe delivers exactly what you do not want. So make sure you visualize and feel only those things that you wish to happen.
Once you are able to visualize, the Law of Attraction works wonders for everyone who sincerely follows its simple formula. Better than that, once you discover it works in one part of your life, you will be able to apply it everywhere. Take control of your future and get a free copy of the Attraction Acceleration Report to rapidly see, attract and experience what you want in life. It is your birthright to live a live filled with everything that is good.

My Bubble: Better Nothing Said!!!
Scenario #1:
You have been working your butt off at the gym and have managed to lose a considerable amount of weight. Then you bumped into a friend you've not seen for a couple of months and here's what she/he had to say;
"Hi, haven't seen you for awhile. You seemed to have put on weight, I see."
Scenario #2:
Your daily activities have not changed much and neither does your weight. Your clothes have not become any bigger than before nor is your pants falling from your waist. Then you bumped into a friend you've not seen since a couple of months' ago and here's what she/he had to say;
"Hi, haven't seen you for awhile. You seemed to have lost a lot of weight dear!"
Scenario #3:
You can't for the life of you remember when you turned into a couch-potato but your waist is bursting at the seams. Not onlyy our weight has skyrocketed but your body ballooned! Then you met a friend you've lost touch for a while and here's what she/he got to say;
"Hi, haven't seen you around for ages. You seemed to have lost a lot of weight. How did you do it?!"
LOL ... are these COMPLIMENTS or SCORN? Can a person's judgement truly be so clouded?
It is quite difficult to conclude on such people without being bias. If at all there is no animosity behind the remarks, then it would have been better if nothing was said at all!
Why hurt other people's feelings?

My Bubble: A Flower That Blooms Forever
A friend in our running community has just suffered the loss of his beloved mother. My deepest sympathy goes out to him and his family.
Death is the inevitable end in the progression of our life. It is not an option. Are we afraid? I was and I must admit the fear has not been totally removed. I am only human. However, through my progression in life, I believe I have managed to find some semblance of wisdom and learned to face death with a little more perspective and a little more acceptance.
My friend's recent loss has brought back the memories of my own beloved mother who departed almost a decade ago. Though it has been a long time since she left us, fond memories of her lived on in my heart and in everyone who loved her dearly. She is like a flower that bloomed in our hearts that will never wilt.
"Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life."
~ Albert Einstein

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
So quickly, it's another week swooshed by silently. Amidst cool weather and the quiet tranquility of my surroundings, I am grateful that:
1. I am living in a country that still safe and stable in its environment and economy.
2. I am living in a country that still have some sense of inter-racial tolerance.
3. I am living in a country where the voices of the people can still be heard.
On top of that, I am grateful that I have finally fulfilled some milestones that I had set out to do not too long ago (<3years). Slowly but surely.

Law Of Attraction: Are You Positve or Negative?
The very basic principle of the Law of Attraction states that ‘like attracts like’ that is, we attract the good and bad into our life through our thoughts and emotions. A very simple jeez out of this is that we live out whatever form of energy we vibrate to the Universe! A positive energy attracts positive things to manifest in our life.
So let’s ask ourselves today … are we sending out a positive or negative vibration?
We frequently questioned why the law of attraction does not work for us. We have a clear sight of our goals, we set our affirmations and we look forward to our goals manifesting in front of our eyes. But there seemed to be nothing going on. Is it true nothing has happened?
Yes and no. First of all, things does happened in our life. It is just does not come in the channels that we envisioned or expect. Secondly, it may not necessarily be all the good stuffs. Be open-minded, look around us and open up our heart to embrace them with thankfulness. This is called GRATITUDE. Gratitude can lift the disappointments and frustrations that block our positive vibrations.
It is always easy to prepare ourselves on the technical aspects of the law of attraction. These are the external factors. Are we ready on the inside? The Universe cannot deliver if we are not ready, if we have not allowed it to happen. Our internal factors are equally important … they are intangible but the influence is great on the type of vibrations we are sending out. We need to release the doubt, the fear, the helplessness and the anger that restrict the right vibrations.
“It is hardly possible to build anything if frustration, bitterness and a mood of helplessness prevail.” ~ Lech Walesa

My Bubble: Finally Getting My Dues ...
ELATION!
Finally my efforts are paying off. I just decided to make my first withdrawal for my online income from all the various sources. It may be a small amount for now but I am grateful for it and at least I know I am on the right track. This is a fantastic milestone for me and I am so looking forward to my next withdrawal soon.
Out of curiosity, I also did an Alexa ranking test to check the popularity for my blog and thankfully, it makes me feel positive and more determined.

My Bubble: Ready-to-eat Hors D’oeuvres Online
If I ever knew having a party can be so simple, I would have done it much more often!
My standard motto for having any party is always ‘to cater’, rather than cooking the food myself. After all the efforts put into cooking, you’ll probably be half-dead and tired by the time the party starts. Not forgetting the aftermath … cleaning and washing up after the party. So, if I’m going to have a party, then I’d better be able to enjoy it!
But catering is never that simple either. Sometimes, the caterers can be quite rigid especially when you are just holding a small get-together. I was planning for a get-together with some of my ex-colleagues the other day and was browsing the internet for some catering ideas when I stumbled on this site that offers a tempting array of appetizers for parties online. They carry over 100 variety of finger food like beef or chicken satay, Chinese dumplings, mini pot pies, quesadilla, quiche, assorted mini pizzas and so on. They even offer breakfast items on their menu. The selections on their menu were just perfect for my coming small gathering.
Surprisingly the price of the food and the shipping cost wasn’t very expensive either compared to the regular caterers. Without hesitation, I’ve placed an order for 12 different hors d’oeuvres and they will be shipped to me in coolers with dry ice.
Now, that’s one important item struck off my ‘to-do’ list!

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...
Another week has passed with many happy endings to treasure and to be thankful. This week I’d like to share a gratitude prayer to give thanks to the Infinite Being.
"Oh My Gracious God,
I give thanks for all the amazing gifts you have blessed me in my life, not only this past week but my whole life. Your blessings are many and my heart is filled with gratitude for the opportunities that you have laid in my path. Thank you for keeping my loved ones at home and afar safe and healthy. Thank you for the people you have connected me with and the learning experienced I have gained from them. Most of all, thank you for the guidance, strength, wisdom and understanding to rejoice in my living with gratitude.
Thank you … Amen."

My Bubble: Am I OCD???
Sometimes I get very upset whenever Lo Kong decides to help put the laundry to wash. I know I should be appreciative but he always never ever remember to put certain clothes and stuffs into a laundry bag before throwing them into the washing machine.
Am I OCD? It sounds serious it scares me! Obsessive compulsive disorder …. it actually reminds me of ‘Neat Freak Monica Gellar’, that fictional character from the popular sitcom Friends. She has an obsessive personally and is practically the ‘Mother Hen’ that kept her friends together. Oh gosh! Luckily I am nowhere near her character. I’d be too overbearing, even to my own liking.
A slight digression but coming back to the laundry issue earlier, I do not believe I am OCD. I am not a cleanliness freak or anything like that but even doing the laundry does require certain steps and tricks. For example, I wouldn’t put the colored clothes with the whites into the wash nor would I wash everything at hot temperatures just in case they shrink. Likewise, there are some clothes that really need to be placed inside a laundry bag like bras, cotton T's and my Stephen Joseph quilted backpack. I am especially upset since my Stephen Joseph backpack is totally out of shape and the color is ruined. It looked so seasoned now. It holds a sentimental value since it was a Christmas gift from a favorite ex-employer. I could easily order another online but it wouldn’t be the same right?
Dearest Lo Kong, please don't do the laundry anymore. Thank you so much but I can do it myself. You could however turn on the switch for me whenever I ask though. I would rather you keep an eye over those Dallas landscaping contractors overhauling our garden at the moment.

Law Of Attraction: Attract The Right Relationships
Parents, children, spouses, lovers, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, business associates and so forth. These are the examples of the human relationships that influence our daily existence beginning from the day we’re born up to the day when our time on earth is up. These are unique connections that come into being through a force of the universe that draws everyone into each other’s paths.
The Law of Attraction works on the fundamental principle that everyone is an energy form and that our thoughts are the frequencies that attracts similar energies into our lives. The vibrancy of our energies will continuously dictate the healthy and satisfying connections that affect our relationships with everyone around us. When relationships are distressed or dysfunctional, we will be less happy and less productive. On the other hand, when our relationships are progressive and fruitful, we will be healthy, lively and effective.
The saying that ‘birds of a feather flocks together’ is indeed an accurate description of what the Law of Attraction continually advocates. ‘Like attracts like’ and this means the state of our energies attracts similar energies. Studies have indicated that people are more likely to be attracted to counterparts who share similar attitudes, characteristics and life goals. Cheerful people have positive energies and like to be around cheerful people. However, it is not that negative people likes being around negative people but more so because of their negativity towards their surroundings that they are more likely to attract the same. Happy cheerful people instinctively avoid interactions with people and situations that are perceived to be unfavorable to their wellbeing and goals.
So, what type of relationships do we want in our lives?
The state of our relationships with the people we love and care or the people who are new in our lives rest in ourselves. It would be great it is can be as easy as turning on a light-switch to attract the beautiful relationships and black-out the ugly ones but nope, it isn’t so. As long we know what type of relationship we want, we have to put in some efforts. First and foremost, let’s start to free ourselves from our old limiting thought patterns that inhibit our progress. Our desired result may not be instantaneous but the journey will definitely bring a lot of relative results before we reach our goal.

Just Laughs: Ask Another Doctor
The doctor and his wife were having a heated argument at breakfast. As he stormed out of the house, the man angrily yelled to his wife, "You aren't that good in bed either!" By midmorning, he decided he'd better make amends and called home. After many rings, his wife, clearly out of breath, answered the phone. "What took you so long to answer and why are you panting?"
"I was in bed."
"What in the world are you doing in bed at this hour?"
"Getting a second opinion".
"I was in bed."
