My Bubble: A Day In Thermal Wonderland ... Wai-O-Tapu

Up and early, we had to do our dumping and refill the water-tank before 9am if we want to make it to see the Lady Knox at 10.15am at Wai-O-Tapu. It is 27km south of Rotorua which is about 20-25 minutes drive.

A first at this dumping and refilling tasks, every word that Kenrick spoke to us earlier just replayed in my mind. Yeah, somehow this task seemed to have fallen in my hands. Anyway, after completing and cleaning up the toilet in our campervan and spray here spray there using my deodorant spray, we were off to Wai-O-Tapu to catch Lady Knox. Either it is psychological or it was a spill ... I just kept smelling the strong urine odor the whole day after that!

As usual, it was a scenic drive all the way to the thermal wonderland as is wherever we drove along the countryside in North Island. Green and beautiful and did I mentioned ... we hardly drove with air-conditioning on. We actually let the fresh cool breeze in. We arrived early at Wai-O-Tapu before 10am and purchased our tickets at NZ$32.50 per person. We managed to get a 10% discount using the discount voucher from All Seasons Holiday Park. When you think about the currency exchange, every little NZ$ saved is helpful.

Catch our day at the thermal wonderland below.
