What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Kia Ora! Greetings from Aotearoa!

I had actually wanted to schedule this entry way before we left KLIA because we were definitely coming to this part of the country. However, due to the polar blast there was a huge uncertainty that we will ever make it here. There was in fact an emergency warning issued to the locals prior weeks' ago to prepare for self-evacuation due to the rising seas at their beachfronts.

I am grateful that the big seas along with snow and freezing temperatures had eased though it is still cold due to the lingering cold winds, intermittent showers and frosts. Lo Kong and I are now in Hawke's Bay, the wine country of New Zealand. Lo Kong will be running the half-marathon as scheduled this morning which is due to start at about 10am local time. I am grateful that we have had a very careful and safe driving experience to get here on their almost wintery road conditions.

I am so grateful for an enjoyable week so far in Aotearua and will update the full details of our holiday soon upon my return to Malaysia.

Hei konā rā for now!
