Lo kong and I were only away for two weeks. I wonder how bad it could be if it had been a month. This is no different from worklife. Enjoy the holidays and come back to a load of backlog!
Anyway, I am grateful for the 2 weeks holiday in New Zealand with all the new experiences and memorable drives. Been exactly two weeks too since we were back and there are just so much to write about and so much review over our journey. The memories are all still so fresh!
Since returning, I have also been inundated with both renewed opportunities and new opportunities that have been keeping me busy. While I may be busy keeping up with them and keeping my fingers crossed that I do not take more than I can chew, I am ever so thankful for the opportunities all the same.
Just as Friedrich Nietzsche said, “For a tree to become tall it must grow tough roots among the rocks.”
