My Bubble: Taste of Taiwan ~ Final Day

It was our last day in Taiwan as we spent another half-a-day in Kaohsiung's popular attraction, Dream Mall. It is both the largest shopping complex in Taiwan and in East Asia. A major recreation landmark that combines shopping, leisure, dining, arts and culture within a 9-storey building with a roof-top theme park, home to the Hello Kitty Ferris wheel that takes 15 minutes to finish one rotation. Too bad, we didn't have time for it.

Anyway, our priority was more on food exploration and a last minute shopping for snacks to take home. Grabbing a long delayed dose of freshly brewed coffee, we headed to its Starbucks outlet where lo kong managed to draw an additional free coffee from its New Year's lucky dip.

With a little shopping behind us, we headed for the food court before heading to the train station to catch the high-speed train back to Taipei to catch our flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

2 Bubbles:

I'm a banana... I think I prefer western countries...or perhaps Manila or Bangkok.

I'm a banana too but contrary to our own apprehensions, it is actually very easy to get around. Plenty of signs in English. If you have some splutters of Hokkien, it helps but not necessary. It's a warm and friendly place, you feel safe going out and about.
