Note of Awareness #52

"Some people make things happen, some watch things happen, while others wonder what has happened." Which one are you?

You are the most powerful and the only force to be reckoned with who can manifest whatever reality you want. Your thoughts and feelings continuously alter your energy and influence the collective experience of everyone and everything around you. You are constantly creating your reality whether you know it or not. That’s the law of attraction in action.

But when you developed a clarity of your goals and your purpose on earth, you can begin to consciously make things happen in your life exactly the way you would want it to be!

Affirmation of the Week ...

There is a Gaelic proverb that says, "Some people make things happen, some watch things happen, while others wonder what has happened."  Which one are you?

I am always grateful that my faith in God has given me guidance and strength to continually be inspired into action to make things happen for myself. It is easy to set goals but to remain motivated and go after them needs commitment and a deep trust in my own abilities.  Maintaining daily positive affirmations or mantras are the welcomed clockwork to help us remain focus and courageous to achieve what we've set out to do.

Random Bubbles ...

A Thanksgiving Blessing by Walter Rauschenbusch:

O God,
We thank you for this earth, our home;
for the wide sky and the blessed sun,
for the ocean and streams,
for the towering hills and the whispering wind,
for the trees and green grass.

We thank you for our senses by which we hear the songs of birds,
and see the splendor of fields of golden wheat,
and taste autumn's fruit, rejoice in the feel of snow,
and smell the breath of spring flowers.

Grant us a heart opened wide to all this beauty;
and save us from being so blind that we pass unseeing
when even the common thornbush is aflame with your glory.

For each new dawn is filled with infinite possibilities
for new beginnings and new discoveries.
Life is constantly changing and renewing itself.
In this new day of new beginnings with God,
all things are possible.
We are restored and renewed in a joyous awakening
to the wonder that our lives are and, yet, can be.

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Life can be as simple as we want it to be. Of course, it is difficult to imagine our life without the worries of unpaid bills, household expenses, employment, health, love, family, children and even politics.

The reality is that most of us are constantly worried about what is going to happen when things have not even begun to happen!

This is just the simple flaw that we have been conditioned through our upbringing and generations of passed down human conditioning. However, this is not the end of us yet! The best remedy to make our life as simple as we want it to be is to adopt thankfulness. Living with gratitude does not necessarily make all the worries go away but at least it will bring cheers into our life.

Always remember this by Ken Keyes Jr ... "Everything is a gift from the universe — even joy, anger, jealousy, frustration, or separateness. Everything is perfect either for our growth or our enjoyment."

My random list of gratitude this week is;

1.  I am grateful for the wonderful opportunities that are continually growing in my life.

2.  I am grateful for the guidance and strength blessed by the Infinite One that continually inspires me to make the things happen for myself.

3.  I am grateful for the continual support received from my family, friends and including all the netizens who fills my world.

Dear friends, please take a moment to ponder on this ancient Chinese proverb which says, "Tension is who you think you should be, relaxation is who you are."

Law Of Attraction: Working Up The Momentum

You are a firm believer in the principle of the law of attraction and you have been applying it in every area of your daily life. However, you do not understand why positive things do not seem to be materializing quickly. How is this so?

The simplest way to clarify the situation is momentum. The law of attraction works with momentum. What you want coming into your life may be manifested instantly or it may take a longer period of time to happen. Why?

The reason behind it has a lot to do with the strength of your desire, the clarity of your vision and the power of your intention. Before you have ever learned about the law of attraction, you have to understand that most people have been living their life in worry, doubt and indecision. These limiting beliefs breed fear that has been building up a tremendous momentum in one direction. Therefore, while the Universe is orchestrating and rearranging itself to bring to you all that you desire, it will at the same time allow you the time needed to wrangle with your choices and all the varying aspects, elements and options that may come to your mind in order to strengthen your intentions and focus. The more limiting beliefs you have will determine the amount of time you take to change course.

You need to be patient and reset your coordinates before you can start heading in the opposite direction of positive thinking. It is something like driving on a narrow street and trying to make a 3-point turn to get back in the direction you were coming from. Slowly but surely you will make it out of the tight spot.

The time you take to get onto the right direction is also determined by your willingness to make changes. The more open and willing you are to learn and grow, the shorter the time you will turn around and gather momentum in the opposite direction and start attracting what you desire and deserve in your life.

Once you are certain with your choices and intentions, you must always remember the equation to the law of attraction:  "Thoughts + Feeling + Actions = Results"

Having the right positive thoughts and feelings accompanied by inspired actions will increase your momentum exponentially. Do not be overly concerned with trying to change your life overnight. You will not be wrong to believe that with each positive change you subscribe to, a snowball effect has been activated to bring you many steps closer to your desires and more.

So be patient and do not give up. As long you keep positive and believe that law of attraction is working for you right now, perseverance is the only the way to go to maintain or accelerate the momentum that will turn your desires into a reality. Like it had often been said, “Rome wasn’t built in a day!”

Poetry: Rose Of Life

Rose Of Life
by Ellie LeJeune

I am unfolding gently beneath
your loving touch
I let wholeness breath my
petals free
Sweet fragrant Spirit touching
senses into life
Giving beauty back to the universe
Each petal, sweet miracle of life
We are hues of color, yet one
in Spirits blossom

We all need to look deep within to find the true meaning of life. In this poem a rose is used to describe that spiritual growth within. The rose in this poem is you! Be inspired by more beautiful moving poems at http://www.netpoets.com/poems/life/

My Bubble: Procrastination Is Evil!

Procrastination is like a credit card;
it's a lot of fun until you get the bill.

Christopher Parker

It has never been repeated enough that procrastination is evil.  It's plain wasteful and whenever my lazy bones is awakened, procrastination rears its evil head again.  It's such a bad habit that comes to visit whenever I've managed some room for a break.

Yesterday I had a day with ample time in hand but what did I do?  I squandered!  Yes indeed ... I squandered the time away.  No assignments in hand meant a good chance to update my blog and catch up in the blogosphere but noooooo ... instead?

Don't know what I did but at least I made it to the gym for an hour's workout on the treadmill and weights.  I had also cooked up a healthy quinoa salad and mushroom soup for dinner last night.  Well that takes care of the healthy lifestyle part although despite the non-carbo and sugary diet, my 12-hour fasting blood sugar still shot up above 8 mmol/l.

What the heck is happening?  Seeing the doc tomorrow to find out why!

Anyway I hit the gym again today for a quick half-hour run that burned 500 calories against an input of 200 calories.  No carbo and no sugar the whole day ... just a plain taufu fah as lunch and an all-veggie vegetarian dinner with one kiwi fruit for dessert.  Let's see what my blood sugar holds for tomorrow morning.

Procrastination may be an evil friend but blood sugar is my dreaded enemy!!

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Been busy this couple of days that I have been slow to update my blog. Sometimes I just get too caught up with a new project that time simply slipped away by unnoticed. By the time I realized it, 24 hours have maxed!

Anyway, there's always time for thankfulness ... gratitude is in motion all the time 24/7!

Whether it is a time of joy or it is a bleak world right now, having an attitude for gratitude can bring about hope and optimism for things to change. Keep an open mind and don't sweat the big stuffs. Sometimes, it's the little things that matters.

Here's my random list of gratitude for the week;

1. I am so grateful that my heart scan produced a positive result that gives me a peace of mind.

2. I am grateful for the assignments that I have received this week and also the bonus payments.

3. I am grateful to have revive an income opportunity that I've swept under the carpet for some time now.

Law Of Attraction: Law of Receiving

‘Giving,’ which is the first and fundamental law of life, is the first law of all creation. The attitude of getting is the law of life in a congested state or repressed action. As long as getting dominates the mind, that mind is in a paralysed condition being limited in its actions, in accord to the fundamental law of creation. An awful lot of people are stuck with that one concept. The majority of people are raised to be good little go getters, not good little go givers. We must, however, learn how to give before we can understand the law of receiving.

Giving does not just mean money, it can be a whole host of things: time, effort, love, compassion, experience, advice. Giving should not be with the sole intention to gain as result. Give freely, learn to give generously and live life with sincerity and integrity and, then, watch what life returns to you -Givers gain.

Look at the people in your life who give generously, who give freely and see what results they are attracting, are they living a rich live? and I don’t mean money. The laws are trying to teach us that we are spiritual beings having physical experience, giving feeds the soul and the spiritually within us, and if we give with a good heart then it is with certainty that you will receive.

We receive so little because we give so little, they are poverty stricken because they refuse to give, whatever the natures of your possessions, give and give abundantly: give of your life, thought, interest, ability, energy, love, helpfulness and express your best when you do give. The more you give the more you receive – this is a science and cannot fail if adhered to fully – the law works.

Proceed without doubt, without fear to desire and to expect all the the good you can realise, all the good you can enjoy, all the good you can use . when the mind of the person becomes unselfish to the point of yielding to the law then that person is born a new,for that persons attitude toward the law, himself and everyone else has changed and the affairs of that person take on the character of the newness of thought. The miracle is this – the more we share, the more we have.

That which a man willingly shares, he keeps.
That which he selfishly keeps, he loses.

The charitable give out the door and God puts it back through the window.

A person’s true wealth is the good he or she does in the world.

Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright,
for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man.
Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely,
who conducts his affairs with justice.
He will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is secure; he will have no fear;
in the end he will see his desire on his adversaries.
He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor,
his righteousness endures forever;
his horn [dignity] will be lifted high in honour.

My Bubble: Going Under The Scan!

You would have read a few weeks ago that I had gone for a full medical check-up. This time I have included a stress test to check on the current state of my heart. Everything went well as the doctor even gave me a thumbs up for fitness.

Results of the entire check-up came about a week later. Blood glucose was as expected which had gone from good control to fair control ... that is not a good thing actually. As planned, I started on my diabetic medication immediately after. All the huffs and puffs drenched in smelly sweats plus the sacrifices of my favorite food are not doing any good any more ... so Metformin 500mg to the rescue. It's been a week now and while I do not see any mad spikes, neither do I see near normal reading on my blood glucose monitor. One more week to go before I check-in with the doctor again ... we'll see by then.

My medical check-up results also revealed an extreme unfavorable cholesterol level and a slightly higher than normal uric acid. That means another medication to be added to my daily pill-popping regime.

However, the most disturbing part of the report was that my heart had stopped intermittently during the stress test ... sounds like heart trouble. I was referred to a cardiologist at the nearest medical center where I underwent a CT heart scan. Quite a terrifying experience!

Diagnosing Heart Disease with Cardiac Computed Tomography
(CT Scan)

The machine was big like the Stargate portal you see in the movie. First I have to lie down on the slab that will slide through a big ring. Then they attached several cables onto my chest. Both my arms were made to rest above my head. The slab then slide in between the ring and a woman's voice guided me to breathe and hold my breath as the technician initiates a scan. The first round was to obtain a cardiac calcium score to find any buildup of calcium on the walls of the arteries in my heart. The cardiologist came in and advise that there were very little calcium in my arteries and that it is not necessary but still entirely my decision to proceed with the Coronary CT Angiography.

I was determined to have a complete peace of mind with regards to my heart and the doctor was soon looking for a vein on my arm to insert an IV. Only on the third try, she found one and inserted the IV where an iodine-containing contrast dye was injected through to improve the quality of the 3D image of my moving heart. They also sprayed a medication under my tongue which was meant to dilate my arteries before the same process of going inside the ring was repeated. While stationary inside the ring, I could feel my whole body warming up as if I had just down some tequila shots! Luckily I did not flinched at all as it could have affected the imaging.

The whole process didn't last more than half-an-hour but the waiting was longer. After more than an hour's wait, the cardiologist informed that I have nothing to worry about. However, I must ensure I continue with the high cholesterol and diabetic medication due to my family history.

Poetry: Live Life!

Live Life
© Livelovelaugh

Life is crazy,
and totally unpredictable...
It's going to push you over,
kick you while you're down
and hit you when you try to get back up.
Not everything can beat you.
Things are going to change you,
But you get to choose which ones you let change you.
Listen to your heart,
Follow your dreams,
And let no one tell you what you're capable of.
Push the limits,
Bend the rules,
And enjoy every minute of it.
Laugh at everything,
Live for as long as you can.
Love all,
But trust none.
Believe in yourself,
And never lose faith in others
Settle for nothing but only the best,
And give 110% in everything you do.
Take risks,
Live on the edge,
Yet stay safe,
And cherish every moment of it.
Life is a gift,
Appreciate all the rewards,
And jump on every opportunity.
Not everyone's going to love you
But who needs them anyways.
Challenge everything,
And fight for what you believe.
Back down to nothing,
But give in to the little things in life,
After all, that is what makes you.
Forget the unnecessary,
But remember everything,
Bring it with you everywhere you go.
Learn something new,
And appreciate criticism.
Hate nothing,
But dislike what you want.
Never forget where you came from,
And always remember where you are going.
Live Life to its fullest,
And have a reason for everything,
Even if it's totally insane.
Find Your purpose in life,
and Live it!

Note of Awareness #51

We all know that gratitude is one of the fundamental elements in using the law of attraction. We know that being grateful for what we already have, tells the Universe that you are ready to receive more of the same.

When you exist in the great state of gratitude, you become a person who only wants to give. You become so grateful that it takes over your life, and you can't find enough opportunities in a day to give. You give joy, you give love, you give money, you give appreciation, you give compliments, and you give kindness. You give the best of yourself in your job, in your relationships, and to strangers.

You will know when you have really found true gratitude, because you will become a giver. One who is truly grateful cannot be anything else.

My Bubble: Making It Random!

I am sure by now most of my regular blog-readers and friends would have noticed some peculiarity in my blogging. My blog entries seemed to have gone all haywire ... disorganized with old blog subjects returning to entwined with the new.

The disarray had not been intentional but neither will I intentionally return to the norm. I just want to be uninhibitedly RANDOM!!! For the time being at least.

Someone said, "We live in a crazy world, and if you want to get through it with your body and soul even a little bit intact, you might as well be crazy yourself. It couldn't hurt. And it just might help."

Maybe we all should take this advice. A little randomness won't kill me ... it'll probably make me ridiculously healthy, I hope.

I'm just being Random!

Affirmation of the Week ...

Why make life so complicated? Challenges are inevitable as they are meant to unveil the truth about us to ourselves as it is to mold us to who we are. Accept the truth, learn from it and move on afreshed ... the journey becomes less complicated. Live and let live with gratitude in our hearts ... hope, happiness and peace follows.

This is my affirmation for the week ...

"Simplicity is making the journey of this life
with just baggage enough."

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Are you grateful for what you have in your life? Although I don't reflect on it everyday, I try as often as I can. It makes a lot of difference when you think about it. There's just a calming peace that overwhelms me, letting me know that wherever I am in my life today ... everything sufficed. I have enough!

Even as we talk about gratitude, we will notice a change in our state of mind ... to one that is slowing down to feel a loving connection with everything around us. That's why adopting an attitude for gratitude is good for you because;

1. It makes you value all the good stuffs and people around you.

2. It makes you accept the challenges in your life and learn.

3. It makes you a stronger person to accept changes in your life.

Living our life in gratitude do not cost anything except the time needed for us to get into the habit. In the long run, the returns come in the form of increased happiness and joy ... isn't this worth your while?

Always keep in mind that, "Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings."

It has been a very busy week for me not only because I've resumed my ghostwriting assignments but also due to several health-related appointments. I cannot deny there were some fearful thoughts and disturbed emotions but I have hope. Where there's gratitude, there will be hope!

1. I am grateful that I can wake up every morning with a positive attitude.

2. I am grateful that I am able to end each day with accomplishments.

3. I am grateful that my health is under close scrutiny and control.

4. I am grateful for the continuous flow of assignments I received this week.

So ... are you feeling thankful and appreciative today?

"Your life is your own. You mold it. You make it."

Law Of Attraction: Everything Happens For A Reason

A Random Thought ...

Sometimes when things fall apart, it may just be that things are falling in place. Look from a positive perspective and we will not see it as an obstacle but a challenge to make the necessary change for improvements.

A Note of Awareness ...

Sometime unforeseen things happen
to rob away what we treasure in our life ...
but this does not mean we should stop trying.
Keep our faith and have hope!

A Day With God In My Bubble ...

Mind and spirit may be willing but the body is weak due to the ravages of time. There's no denying that I am getting old. I only pray that everything will improved although it may never be like before ever again but at least that I may grow gracefully.

Poetry: Notes to Life

Notes to life
by Raptyrred

There are many notes to life.
Some are high and some are low,
and the melody they form may seem discordant to some.
But all notes can for a melody, a combination,
of lows and highs.
Telling the song you feel.
There is no right or wrong...
only what you feel.
Your heartstrings play.
Play the lows
Play the highs
Join them together to form your song of life.

Poetry: It's the Journey that's Important ...

It's the Journey that's Important ...
by: John McLeod

Life, sometimes so wearying
Is worth its weight in gold
The experience of traveling
Lends a wisdom that is old
Beyond our 'living memory'
A softly spoken prayer:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

Ins and outs and ups and downs
Life's road meanders aimlessly?
Or so it seems, but somehow
Leads us where we need to be,
And being simply human
We oft question and compare ....
"Is the journey so important
Or the getting there?"

And thus it's always been
That question pondered down the ages
By simple men with simple ways
To wise and ancient sages ....
How sweet then, quietly knowing
Reaching destination fair:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

What Am I Grateful For This Week ...

Whether you are a law of attraction practitioner or not, most of us practice the attitude for gratitude to show our appreciation for the gift of life from our God. Being grateful for something even before we obtain it is actually a simple tool to manifest whatever we want. Being thankful is a way of commissioning the law of attraction into action.

"What doesn't kill us makes us stronger."
~ Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche ~

We commonly express our gratitude for the good things we have in our lives, like our health, our family, our friends, our home and our career. But what about those tough and challenging stuffs that get thrown in our path every now and then? We hear the expression that "everything happens for a reason" pretty often but how much do we truly accept its meaning?

Even the toughest challenges in our life has its purpose to help us gather wisdom and redirect the course of our life journey whenever required. If you want to change your life and attract health, wealth, success and not forgetting happiness, I'd suggest you begin by focusing on what you are grateful for right now. You can live the life of your dreams by adopting the habit of being grateful.

1. I am grateful that all the relationships in my life are going well.

2. I am grateful that my health are still within my control with some moderate tweaking.

3. I am grateful that some of the things that I have longed for are materialising in their timely manner.

4. I am grateful for the spiritual growth that I have been experiencing lately.

5. I am grateful for the peace and quiet that's in harmony between my body, mind and spirit.

Law Of Attraction: Are You The Worrying Kind?

Yes you! Do you have an obsessive, compulsive and anxious kind of personality? Are you the kind of person who loses sleep anticipating what’s going to happen next and anxiously counting the days? Sadly I must admit I am that kind of person once upon a time and still a work-in-progress to turn over a new leaf. I still have not gained 100% control over this self-sabotaging traits but at least when it tries to sneak in, I am capable of reminding myself that all the worrying isn’t worth it!

"Worry is a misuse of imagination."
~ Dan Zadra
Worrying is not always bad as it can sometimes be necessary to bring about some positive results. However, excessive and all consuming worrying is definitely not. It won’t get you anywhere. It won’t change anything. It only robs you of your peace of mind and your productivity as it creates the illusions of bad things happening before they happen. Worries are merely lies that you have created in your mind and if left unattended can spiral into distracting all your efforts towards achieving your dream life.

If you know about the law of attraction, you will understand that these illusions are actually a form of visualization. If you are the worry kind, then you are practically giving these illusions your full attention and you unintentionally help your subconscious mind attract whatever it is that you are worried about into reality. Majority of people encounter circumstances that they were worrying about due to the law of attraction in action.

Like it or not, this natural law of the Universe is in action in your life every second of every day. Rather than letting it attract things that you do not want in your life, why not use it to your positive advantage. You can use the law of attraction to help retrain your mind to anticipate the opposite of bad things happening. Instead of anticipating the worst of every situation you can replace these illusions with positive circumstances that make you comfortable. Positive visualization ensures positive energy that will attract all that you really want.

Worrying shows that you lack faith in yourself and the Universe. Faith is a decision to trust and in order for the law of attraction to work to your advantage, you have to own faith in both yourself and the decisions you made. When you own that faith, you automatically let go of your worries and trust the Universe to know what’s best for you, when would be the best time and how you’re going to achieve it.

It is the next best thing for you to start working on strengthening your faith by eliminating all the negative influences in your life. Begin the practice of using positive affirmations or encouraging mantras in your daily life. Positive affirmations can be likened to your daily cheerleader that keeps you positive and steadily focus on whatever you are aiming for. Being positive and focus leaves no room for fear and worries, allowing the law of attraction to work for you favorably.

Note of Awareness #50

The law of attraction simply states that events happen because of the energies we give out. This happens regardless if we do it intentionally or not. As the popular song goes, we only get what we give whether deliberately or unintentionally!

Since we are all huge magnets of various events in our lives, irrespective good or bad, it makes a whole lot of sense why we must emit only the positive energies so that we can attract only the good. However, this is by no means a guarantee of preventing ill events from coming into our lives because in general, most of us tend to worry about things before they happen. So it is important to bear in mind that it has to be dark for the stars to appear! Things happened for a reason ... learn and move on!

We are using the law of attraction every second of every day. You've even attracted reading this post ... maybe because you want to change from the worry-wort that you have become.

Remember the Universe merely responds to the energies that we attached to our thoughts and emotions. So know exactly what it is that you want and make the request to the Universe with strong enthusiasm. Entrust the Universe with job of worrying for you. All we have to do is simply live the best we can and enjoy an effortless joy for life. Just continually imagine ourselves already living in a world that is everything to our liking.

Poetry: A Gathering of Life

A Gathering of Life
by Terah Cox ©2003

It is not just the passing of years
but the ripening wisdom of living
It is not just a toll taken
but a well of receiving and giving
It’s not just the people come and gone
but the heart’s many faces and forms
It’s not just a weathering of skin and bone
but a weathering of stalls and storms
It is not just the luck of survival
but the brave conquering of strife
It is not just the passing of so many years
but a gathering of love and life

A Day With God In My Bubble ...

"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." ~ Philippians 4:8

If we actually pause for a moment and take in everything in sight around us, there is always something we'll notice that's worthy of praise. These are the very things that help bring out the gratitude in us. We live in a world where everyone including ourselves strive to be the best, have the best and look the best everyday and it is so easy to overlook the simplest gift from God ... our true self!

Today as I was browsing over some pictures posted on facebook, I was delightfully looking at a group of my friends contributing their time to their church's community service in a 'orang asli' settlement somewhere out of town in Perak. It was not only an adults' activity but even their young children participated as well. Looking at their faces, they were obviously enjoying themselves very much. One was photographed teaching English to a group of 'orang asli' kids. What's astonishing is that while these friends may be from the upper middle class, they seemed to derived so much pleasure volunteering to do God's work. While I know them to be very spiritual, they are also a bunch of very down-to-earth people. They are honorable and truly worthy of praise!

We all know that being down-to-earth is definitely a good thing as we become relaxed, humble and connected to the simple things in life. I think I finally caught God's message to me through this observation.  Change my thoughts ... that it is sufficient for me to just live life as good as I am able to, focus on doing what I can and simply be down-to-earth. Good thoughts and actions always produce good results, sometimes possibly in unusual ways. Trust Him to take care of the rest.

Affirmation of the Week ...

Whatever I want to think, I want to feel ... they are all entirely up to me. I get to choose and I am definitely creating my own happiness with every brand new day. There's no room for regrets nor is there any room for fear ... I will march forward because everything is so bright and adventurous ahead!

This is my affirmation of the week ...

Random Bubbles ...

Every time I drive out of my township, I am bound to behold the sight of my new home. Standing tallest within the vicinity of the neighborhood, the twin 15-storey towers have evolved into completion. The actual vacant possession was signed for March 2013 but rumors have it that the delivery could very very much sooner. I am just so excited!

Today reality kinda sinked in ... the first entry of expenses for the new home. Lo kong even imitated the chinking sound of the cash register to perfection the moment he paid for it! We just purchased a queen-sized latex pocket spring mattress since there was a very good bargain thrown in. Our current king-sized bed has more than reached its 10-year warranty ... nowadays we're waking up to body-aches!  However it will still have to do until we shift into our new home.

Immediately after, we headed to the kitchen cabinet shop to get our very first quotation for the built-ins that I have planned out. Oh yes, lo kong has left all the interior designing in my hands. He has no choice actually ... his sole responsibility is to ensure the cash register is full at all times!

WoW!! It's making me even more excited now ... transferring all the ideas that has been running in my head for the past 2 years to paper ... then all the window shopping and decision-makings. After that, the real shopping begins ... without saying the most pleasurable part!
