Today reality kinda sinked in ... the first entry of expenses for the new home. Lo kong even imitated the chinking sound of the cash register to perfection the moment he paid for it! We just purchased a queen-sized latex pocket spring mattress since there was a very good bargain thrown in. Our current king-sized bed has more than reached its 10-year warranty ... nowadays we're waking up to body-aches! However it will still have to do until we shift into our new home.
Immediately after, we headed to the kitchen cabinet shop to get our very first quotation for the built-ins that I have planned out. Oh yes, lo kong has left all the interior designing in my hands. He has no choice actually ... his sole responsibility is to ensure the cash register is full at all times!
WoW!! It's making me even more excited now ... transferring all the ideas that has been running in my head for the past 2 years to paper ... then all the window shopping and decision-makings. After that, the real shopping begins ... without saying the most pleasurable part!
